If Oasis class ships on RCCL I would suggest Crown Loft Suite.

Any advantages on views for either side?

Hello
11329 has bed near the balcony - most prefer this layout
11729 has bed near the closet - difficult to access closet
Hard to get either of these - I would be happy either way if your looking for a B1 room
Would the sofa block the closet in 11729 then?
Thank you for the info.

I'm considering 11329 or 11729 on Allure in 2018. Any advantages/disadvantages on port or starboard?

We just booked (sort of) last minute. Took advantage of the 30% discount & Kids Sail Free promo earlier this month. We are sailing on October 15, 2016. We have never sailed on RCCL before & have wanted to try Oasis of the Seas since she first set sail.
We sail 2 weeks after you. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. Like you I have always wanted to sail on Oasis. I remember the documentary about the Oasis class ships many years ago and I was sold then. Looks like yours and my dreams are going to come true in October! Happy sailing! Enjoy and savor every moment, I know we will.

I just got an email today with the specialty dining packages showing a different price than my cruise planner. Here is a screenshot.

I am interested to know too. Our dining just opened up about a week ago and there was a price increase within a few days. I have been looking at recent cruise compasses and have not seen anything on them about dining specials on the first night.

Cruise Schedule Port Everglades is Port Everglades' unofficial app showing the cruise ship schedules. You can also view the terminal and scheduled departure time up to 30 days prior to departure. This is a great app! I found it via link on the Port Everglades website.

I'm loving the hammock idea too. I think I will pack my ENO double hammock. Sounds like the perfect place to nap.

I'm so looking forward to whenever the ships will be smoke-free.

Is the price the same for lunch as for dinner?

I had the same question but decided on Chankanaab because there seemed to be more to do at Chankanaab. I'm still interested in seeing what others say.

Deck 11 probably has great views -- but think you would see the glider more. Deck 12 (especially at the end) you are right under the over-hang - not sure how the views are.
Thank you for the input!

Awesome view of wake as well as the afternoon diving shows. You can even sit on your balcony and enjoy a movie :) (it was December when I sailed) --
Love the view! Do you think the 11th or 12th level would be better?

It was cabin 10329 and hands-down I would book it again. It's the last cabin on the boardwalk.
We are thinking about the end cabin of the Boardwalk cabins on Allure for next year. Glad to know you were happy with it.

We also prefer the port terminal parking -- quick, convenient, & safe! :)
For a 6 night cruise the convenience just seems to be worth the extra money it costs.

There has been lots of discussions about the pros/cons of parking at the port or using an off-site facility.
I prefer to park at the port inasmuch as I find it much more convienent even though it may cost a bit more to do so. The parking facilities are very secure and I don't have to worry about that aspect of leaving my car for a period of time.
I originally was planning to park offsite but have been rethinking that plan. I'm now leaning toward parking at the port. Your reasons are just the thoughts I've had.

We are on Oasis in October and was stressing over our short time in port as well so we booked Blue Lagoon Beach Break through the ship. Since this is our first stop I didn't want to miss the ship before we even got going good.

Has anyone purchased Nationwide's Luxury Cruise plan and most specifically had to file a claim with them? How was the process with them?

Can anyone tell me if coconut water is available on the Oasis? We drink quite a bit for the electrolytes & I figure we will really need them on the cruise.

The bottled water is not speciality. See post 170 for the bottled water given out on the ship. There is a bottle of Evian water in the cabin on day 1 but it is not replaced. I specifically asked the room stewardess if I could get another bottle, and he said no.
Bottled water is only unlimited everywhere on the ship if you have a drink package. If not, bottled water is only unlimited in the SL to suite guests.
It's infuriating when customer service gives out misinformation. It leads to disappointment when what was promised is not received.
Thanks for the correction. It is frustrating when you have expectations then find out you have been misinformed.
