If that cabin is still available, put a 24 courtesy hold on it, till you hash this out. If you decide to not upgrade, just let it lapse.

We are on the Explorer in a few weeks, and our tags blue:confused:

Wondering if anyone knows the status of the on going construction on the bridge.
We are traveling on Thursday, the 23rd of Oct., and this is our preferred route.
Open to options of another route.
Traveling up from the Jersey shore.

We use the laundry special and also I have a scrubba wash bag which works well http://www.thescrubba.com/ .
I like that idea, have to look into getting this:D
-
Understood, having been there, done that:D
-
Your not talking about RCI right.
Correct, unfortunately ;)
I was being facetious.:DIf you got all that laundry wahed and folded for free, it must be a perk you receive on one of the lines. It's not something the average cruiser gets.
Yes, you're right:D
Luckily, our 3 next upcoming cruises on Royal Caribbean, sails from a home port (and one other close home port) so I can pack my whole closet and not worry if I've packed enough :p;):D
-
WHAT....are the washers and driers on other lines free?:p:D
Washer & dryers free.....no
But 6 bags of laundry, per week (3 per person) washed and folded by the cruise line...yes! Free!
not a minute of my cruise time wasted in guest laundry and clean clothes:D

St. Martin- Guava-berry rum, yum;)

I'd skip St. Lucia, been there, IMO;)

Carnival Fascination. 4 night (Key West, Cozumel)

Also the start of my cruise addiction!

For anyone interested in the travel fan, I bought one last night for $11 at Walmart. I was surprised how flat it lays and it is quite light also. Takes 8 "D" batteries. Should be no problem packing it for the cruise or whenever. Thanks for the info.:D
also have the same fan (cool zone, I believe:confused:)) runs with batteries or the included ac adapter.
Have also the two 6in fans for the night tables, same brand, but run only on batteries.

I hope you have a good time while you're in Bermuda on Saturday and if you have any Bermuda questions (in the meantime), let me know.
Your New Bermuda Friend
I believe this cruise (Aug. 28th) they are doing the New England/Canada cruise:confused:

Do you know me? Do you have any clue as to why I might need to cancel my January cruise and not my August cruise? Not that I need to explain, but the person who died was my mother and she was going to be babysitting my kids for the January cruise. The kids are going on the August cruise with me.
In the future, don't jump to conclusions.
sorry for your loss

Thank you for the feedback.
Do you have any guess on why this cruise was priced so high even with the BOGOHO sale. I booked it on 5/2 so I think that was beginning of sale. I know it's a 10 night cruise but 2256 still seems high for 2 in an interior room. I am just hoping that the price comes down.
Does anyone have any comments on the itinerary?
Thank you again.
Hi, we are also doing the 10 day Liberty cruise, but in Oct. 2015 out of Cape Liberty.
My guess the cost is because the time of year (May) and also falls over Mother's Day weekend.
We booked an Promenade cabin ( for 2) for under $1600 on the first of May.
We are doing a similar intinerary in a few months on the Explorer.
Never been to Bermuda yet, so this is a first for us.

In true Aussie style Voyager of the Seas had a BBQ lunch every sea day on my last cruise in December 2013 on the pool deck!
well, it's been almost 10 yrs, since I sailed her, lol:p
Must be an Aussie thing;)
Maybe if she ever get back to the states, I'll get a chance to enjoy them:cool:

not found on a Voyager class ship as of yet ( BBQ nor a fish and chip venue)
Have only been on the Voyager, Mariner, Explorer, so anyone else that has been on the other two, could weigh in:confused:

The packages can be used on Labadee including the labadoozee. The only restriction is you cannot get the special glass included so need to have it in a regular cup.
have one, you think they'll refillit:p:p

Between beers, frozen drinks, sodas, bottled water, wine, juice, coffee,,,,all bought individually, our total bill is very close to the price range.
Considering a "comp" drink alone in Vegas can be $100 from the time your order to the time it's delivered,,,,,,,,,$900 for an entire week is not too bad.
agreeded.....
For myself.... On a per day consumption .....
Approx. costs....
3 Starbucks flavored coffee ($14)
2 waters ($8)
1 orange juice ($3)
2 glasses of wine w/dinner ($20)
2 cans of soda ($5)
Frozen foo-foo 3 to 4 drinks on a hot day ($32)
Total cost $82
Of course I may drink a little more or less each day:eek:
And of course tax will be included, but will tip a buck or two more if service is good.
I believe they have a decent package and price point.

Hi
For the Starbucks beverages, yes flavored are included.
I don't drink regular coffee but had iced white chocolate mocha, iced caramel macchiato, and caramel frappachino using the package. Other things were available but those were the drinks I had.
Thank you

Now have to figure if it's a value for my upcoming cruise (4 ports):D
Also are they honored on Labadee ( I know not the labadadozee..sp...) but for other drinks/ beverages.....
-
tried having dinner on our balcony, once, windy as heck (at sea:eek:).
-
question? Are the flavor coffee included in the package. Don't care for the regular Starbucks coffee, but like the flavored;)

If I may ask, what has happened to the price of the all-you-can-eat meal over the past 20 years?
If more and more people continue to partake in this practice, what will happen to the price over the next 20 years?
yes, you can:D
First started at $11.99 20 yrs ago, this fall $14.99 in my market ( some markets varies.) Not a major cost overall, IMO, in this day and age with all costs in the preparations, ingredients involved going up;)

have no dog in this race, as I don't drink:eek:
As we are comparing , tho...
My opinion only.....
I work for a seafood chain, a large company like Royal...
Anyway, we run a promo, each fall, endless shrimp (all you can eat.)
Price on menu is per person highlighted, can't miss it.
Family's come in order one or two of it and the rest an appetizer.
They share A lot with their family, yet we are trained not to question and comply.
Kicker is they will order more (not just one or two) state they are full and then take it all home.
All this to say, the cost of those individuals ( many more than you think) is indeed factored in the price of said promo, the company make the money.
So much, that they have the promo run every fall for the last 20 years

Royal Caribbean removes corkage fee for bottles of wine
IN: Royal Caribbean

Oct
2014
Royal Caribbean has quietly removed the $25 corkage fee it previously charged to open a bottle of wine in its restaurants and lounges. The removal of the corkage fee is effective immediately.
Royal Caribbean first started letting guests bring up to two bottles of wine (up to 750ml) per stateroom but included a $25 corkage fee to open the bottles in its restaurants, bars and lounges.
In practice, the corkage fee was infrequently charged and now the policy has been completely removed.
There's no official word from Royal Caribbean why the policy changed but it has been confirmed via Royal Caribbean's official ****b**k page.
