P&O fly the flag for Britain and you want them to be on top.
I have to point out, that P&O are an American company, bought only, because there was a contest between Royal Caribbean and Carnival for the takeover of Princess Cruises. P&O came as additional baggage.
The flag may be British (and proud), but the working conditions for all the crew are just as bad as the other cruise lines flying a Bahamas or Panama flag of convenience.

all nice replies.
Thanks for taking the time to post.

Our steward was fabulous, on the days he was well enough to work. r.
So, if your steward was off sick, nobody cleaned your cabin ?

smaller ships are more intimate, more charming and You receive better service.
The big ships have such an appeal. Much more dining options, more activities, and I wish the TV series would reflect this in the shows.
Maybe a small vs bigger cruise ship experience.

a wide range of age groups on Royal. It appeals to all really.

I'm curious why this question has been posted on 5 different boards.
Could it be an online promotion for the products ?

Carnival is known for constant change-the last time we cruised they had taken away decent tea and served Lipton, not Bigalow or Twinings.
Its all a matter of perception.
Over here in the UK, Liptons is considered an inferior, cheep, discount store style product.
Twinnings is considered a better type of tea, with magical powers.

I would suggest that you leave your instrument at home and enjoy your cruise.
I agree with this.
You are on vacation, enjoy it, and have a great time.

I did not enjoy the series at all. The were of course, some nice standout moments, which were few and far between.
I often "Lurch" on this site, read much more than I post and am fascinated at what makes people happy and what their cruise expectations are.
The TV series is a pale reflection of that.
On some sites, people ask as to what "VIP" status a Guest receives, after having so many cruises under their belt.
On this site, its value for money, and what price a beer costs, as Thomson is a budget brand line, and the questions asked here reflect its image.
I saw recently that British people were asking if Marmite was available on Royal Caribbean.
Its amazing how such little things make or break a cruise.

charming and quaint.

Er, don't they tell you that to start with, like most hotels nowadays?
I cannot comment on P&O cruises, but yes to being informed in Hotels. Its got to do with the environmental issues.
