  1. Best itinerary was the 12 day Mediterranean on the Spirit...Venice, Dubrovnik, Kotor, Rome, Naples, Florence, Pisa, Athens, Mykonos....it was fantastic!!! Every port was a hit!!!

For us too! Loved our 1st ever cruise with NCL Spirt on 12 day Mediterranean cruise 2016. The intimacy of being on a small ship provided us with fantastic service and many new friends. Ports were fantastic, would love it if NCL could lengthen the time in port to overnight for Florence as there is way too much to see!

  2. Looking to Cruise Critic Insiders for information on Specialty Dining restaurants on the Norwegian Breakaway. We have booked 2 cruises back-to-back, one of which is a transatlantic repositioning cruise. Can someone tell me if all specialty restaurants are open and available on repositioning cruises too?

  3. BA has an excellent satellite-based WiFi internet onboard for all to use/share $$, pricing & details typically posted to pre-book at 60 days mark to one's sailing. Been on her 4X and works well for it is intended for - apparently, systems being upgraded/enhanced with newer pricing, fleetwide now as pledged by NCL last year now.

Still waiting ot read/see some first hand benchmark results & concrete data on whether it's faster & better, etc. with this latest round of change.

Ship just docked back in NYC this morning, riding behind another monster storm up the coast and satellite WiFi works with live updates during the passage.

You will be fine ... Have a global/roaming/travel data plan while in those Euro port stops once you are off the ship ?

    Thank you for the information!

  4. I will be cruising on Norwegian Breakaway September/October (Baltic Capitols & Transatlantic). when I access Norwegians site to explore and plan its not showing an option for internet. Can anyone tell me if that means there will be no internet??????? :o

  5. We are a young 50 something couple that have been to Rome twice and are looking to do something off the beaten path. Looking for 6 other Adults to book a tour through Viator at a cost of $116.87 each. It would be a full day tour and would explore the gems of Umbria together with a great food experience in the middle of the Tuscia Countryside, not forgetting the charm of two of the most representative and charming Etruscan towns of Italy. Orvieto, Civita di Bagnoregio, Tarquinia or Tuscania. If you want to review the information for yourself, I've included the IP address:
