You must have been in one just after a race (Daytona) got over, or a football game or something. I have been multiple times Florida and Georgia both, and even though hundreds of people are in the store, there was never anything near a line in the ladies room. Largest restrooms you will ever see.

Exactly...people need to resist that "drive thru lane" mentality and just order and eat their meal at the restaurant.
Some people need to eat small meals, often during the day. That is how our bodies function. If I am starving at bedtime, no one in my cabin will be getting much sleep. A cookie hits the spot!

I filed a covered claim with Travel Guard in mid May 2022. I got an email in July saying the were “sorry about the delay”, but my claim was being processed. I called them at the beginning of August, and was assured by an actual person that my claim was due to be paid in two weeks. It’s been over a month since then, and I’ve gotten bupkis from anyone. Going to have to spend more time on the phone, and finding out how to file a claim against them in my state.
BTW, I’ve file two claims with Allianz over the years for airline tickets and had both paid promptly and without all this runaround.
I won’t travel without insurance, just need to find a better carrier.
Any reason you don’t stay with Allianz? Since it paid promptly.

So what exactly is the benefit of this $25 promotion? I called Viking and was told the $25 deposit basically just puts a hold on the reservation. We'd still need to pay a $100 cancellation fee if cancelled outside the 120 days. Full payment is due end of February for a December, 2023 cruise. Or can past passengers delay full payment? It's all a bit confusing.
I think it is just a teaser -catches the eye and you think about booking.

I’ve been on many cruises and it never occurred to me to try to know, or need to know, every little activity ahead of time. Yes some of the larger ships you can make nightly entertainment reservations, but other than that, not sure the need.

To add a little more information to Host Jazzbeau's comment. After not sailing with MSC for 3 years, you're status starts over again.
Everyone needs to check up on that. We were due to expire right before Covid hit, and they have changed our expiration dates many times. We now need to cruise before the end of this year. I have booked a December cruise to keep it current.

***Additionally, one of the things that these insurance companies don't tell you is that you shouldn't put the port fees into your overall cost quote asthose would be refunded by the cruise line if trip had to be cancelled.***
The same with any hotels you have booked, that are not guaranteed (you can cancel and not pay). Don’t add those either.

Southwest said (without asking) that they are sending me two $250 flight vouchers. I will still ask them to pay some of my expenses. We'll see.
I glad you got this at least. I was getting ready to respond about my experience. I had long delays with Southwest around 4th of July, still got to my destination and money back on changes. But they sent me $100.00 voucher for the inconvenience. They appear to be trying. Glad you got home okay.

on hold now....68 minutes and counting.....need to add another person to our cabin for our cruise in March.
If I were you, I would wait a week or so. Many people are trying to cancel and change cruises coming up in the next few days and weeks. Phone MIGHT get better.

Average wait time onhold is about 2 hours. I just put the speaker phone on and go about my business waiting on someone to answer. I don't know if you have been waiting on hold or they have just hung up on you as the reason you can't get someone on the phone?
Today I starting calling at 9:00am, and they say they are so busy you can’t even wait on hold. Disconnects you. My cruise is Jan 2nd. 🥺

Unless you are bringing a real specific brand, (like something not available on the ship) I would order ahead thru the cruise line. I don’t think they are unreasonable in price.
-
If it was me, I would take a test right now and at least see what the results show right now. Might give you a better idea.

Baloney. I take my own personal large cup on every cruise and fill it myself with lemonade or iced tea from the beverage machine. I have no idea where you got that crazy idea.
P.S. Been doing it for many years on NCL.
The signs say you should not. But I don’t see anyone policing that.

Article I read said skip “international travel”

If it were me, I would take a Taxi/Uber to get something to eat and relax. And then Taxi back when it is nearer to boarding time. I would hate the weird walk and the long wait in a terminal.

We also live in Florida. We (pre-Covid) would do one way car rentals to the cruise ports and again home from airport when we do the Transatlantic.
1 - we normally spend a little more time in Europe before flying back - a four week parking bill was higher than 2 one way rentals.
2 - also we like parking our car at home where it is not so obvious that we are away.
3 - Don’t like worrying about the car in a parking lot all that time. Who knows what could happen to it. And that would delay us going home.
I must add I have not priced one way rentals recently. But did it many times before.

I've never tried stapling to my luggage, but you have given me the idea that I can pickup normal airline tags (cardboard with strings) and the staple the cruise tag to that. That might work I think. (Just have to add staple to the packing list)
You don’t staple it to the luggage - you fold it long way in half around the handle and staples it to it’s self! 😎

Was your good deal a Casino Offer or something similar? Could be the reason.

I'm looking at the menus for Harmony. I'm thinking of getting one entree and requesting the veg from another. Or, just ordering a baked potato.
I do that all the time. And if it is a veggie I like, I ask for double. If we eat lunch on the ship, we mostly do the buffet - that is where I try to fill up on the fruits and veggies.

I just booked Mardi Gras, Havana Interior for $55 each, plus tax, etc. Total 391.00 total for the 2 of us, 6 night out of Port Canaveral (Hour and half from us). Jan 2.
Just too good to not do it. We don’t even care where it’s going. Like so many of you - JUST READY TO CRUISE!! 😎🛳⚓️🛳⚓️🛳⚓️😎

In the mean time copy his card on stock paper. You will then have options if it get more damaged. I did that to begin with. The copy is in the wallet, the original is home on the frig. Also picture of it on our phones.

Parking at the port is quick and easy, and right next door, but as you mentioned expensive at $17.00 per day.
Note that they will charge you for the day you disembark.
Our 4 night cruise on carnival in September was $85.00
I expect the same next week on the Divina.
Parking is much cheaper off site, but with COVID, I wouldn't chance the bus ride, but that is just me.
And especially the line for bus on the return trip! When the cruise is over, I want to get rolling!

Unless you are a single person eating, there should be no need for anything. My husband and I would go for seconds or whatever one at a time.

Are you talking about Rome airport? There is a hotel at the airport. No shuttle needed even. Just look up the airport and you will find. A major chain.

On another cruise line, I won the free cruise from bingo! I also know someone else that did win on Carnival one time too.
