Hi.
There are plenty of activities that the kids can do! Lots of arts & crafts, such as colouring on a t-shirt that they get to keep; games, movies, pajama night, etc. Sometimes the Fun Zone staff will take the kids for ice cream in the afternoon and there may be special dinners that are for the kids (you can sign them up if you want).
You'll receive a program/schedule in your stateroom when you board.
Cheers.

Yes, I've stayed in an Inside Cabin; I reckon on Deck 8. I like the little sofa in the stateroom. It was a fine cabin.
Sorry no pics.
Cheers.

There are plenty of video games in the Fun Zone already for the kids to use for free. And lots of activities too. Plus there is going to the swimming pool as well. So really, you don't have to spend anything extra.

Should be half price in the specialty restaurants for kids 12 and under.

I also like to pack a calendar to hang on the wall.

We've just done a World Cruise segment with three in an Interior. No problems for us!

Yes, you select which sushi you would like. Soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger will be provided. There are no vegetable side dishes...unless they have some edamame.
Enjoy!

We loved Kai Sushi and went often last year on our B2B2B Japan cruises. That said, we enjoy all kinds of sushi and sashimi.
I'd say, try it out! You can order a California Roll, Avocado Roll, Tuna, Salmon Sashimi, etc. You'll also get Miso Soup to start and Green Tea ice cream for dessert.
At first we did not how much to order so we started with a few items, then if we were still hungry, we ordered more.
Cheers.

I agree it's a bit of a hassle - lots of paperwork to get in order to submit to the Embassy - at least for Canadians.

I like to bring my favourite ground coffee and a small French Press as well as my favourite tea bags.
I do this on every cruise.

Great! Thanks for posting them.

On Sea Princess, there are Australian, British, and N.American plugs/outlets.

The children are sure to have fun! There is a Kids' Club that will cover all the ages (divided in certain age groups), swimming pool, soft-serve ice cream, and of course going on your shore excursions or beaches.

Thanks for the heads up about the beach. Are there people there that speak english to help you get on the right train? Is there any shopping there?
There is a bit of shopping in Civitavecchia, not too much though (some clothing stores, tourist shops that sell souvenirs, jewellery stores, shoe stores, a market).
Also be aware that the shops inconveniently close up from about 12:30pm to 3:30pm for lunch/siesta. Restaurants and cafes will be open all day.
There should be someone to help you in English, just know what beach or train station stop you need to get to.
Cheers.

Thanks for your review and a belated Happy Birthday!

Greetings.
For San Diego, I'd say go to the Zoo (if you like that sort of thing!). It's very easy to do on your own, that is, take a taxi (under $20 USD) and pay the entrance fee. You don't need a ship tour for this one. Taxis are readily available at the pier and at the Zoo for the return.

Indeed, it is a beautiful sailaway!

The weather, of course, varies.
Might I suggest adding a few long sleeve t-shirts and long trousers (jeans) for daytime. Hoodies and sweatshirts too. I've been to Alaska a few times (June, July, and an August sailing) and it's been chilly!
The kids clubs, I found, were not that warm...

Lunch time! Grabbing something to eat at the buffet.

Hi.
There is a Soda Package, but it is from the fountain, that is, mixed...
You can purchase soft drinks in cans on the ship; I believe it is around $2.00.
You may bring your own soft drinks onboard, no problem there. Some passengers bring a case or more! Yes, go ahead and purchase your favourite soft drinks ashore.
The Buffet is usually self-serve, except in the case of a Norovirus situation where then you will be served.
Cheers.

Yes, I have done exactly that - bought a coach transfer from Southampton to LHR, whilst on the ship.

What I did when my son was young (he too preferred a bath) was to sit him down on the shower compartment floor, have the shower head angled toward the wall - so as not to spray directly on him, and let him "bathe" this way. It worked out very well.

We've been a few Hallowe'en cruises and they are a lot of fun! We bring our costumes and some of the staff dress up as well. There is a special party in one of the lounges or the Atrium with a band and dancing. A costume contest as well.
It's also nice to see the Hallowe'en decor around the ship; the Atrium has a nice display of carved pumpkins.
Cheers.
