Do a "Copy" of ALL of the text, including these instructions, from the most up to date Maitres D'Hotel list.

Go to the bottom left of the latest post and click the "Post" button.

Paste your copied text into the box that opens.

Make your modifications to the list.

Click "Submit Reply" button just below the list you are modifying.

Confirm that everything is correct - you can edit for up to 20 minutes.

If you are unsure how to do the above, just post your updates and the next person can update the list.

    Thank you all.

The best method is to copy the list, then make the changes as post it as a new item.

  2. Hi.

There are plenty of activities that the kids can do! Lots of arts & crafts, such as colouring on a t-shirt that they get to keep; games, movies, pajama night, etc. Sometimes the Fun Zone staff will take the kids for ice cream in the afternoon and there may be special dinners that are for the kids (you can sign them up if you want).

You'll receive a program/schedule in your stateroom when you board.

    Cheers.

  3. We loved Kai Sushi and went often last year on our B2B2B Japan cruises. That said, we enjoy all kinds of sushi and sashimi.

I'd say, try it out! You can order a California Roll, Avocado Roll, Tuna, Salmon Sashimi, etc. You'll also get Miso Soup to start and Green Tea ice cream for dessert.

At first we did not how much to order so we started with a few items, then if we were still hungry, we ordered more.

    Cheers.

  4. Thanks for the heads up about the beach. Are there people there that speak english to help you get on the right train? Is there any shopping there?

There is a bit of shopping in Civitavecchia, not too much though (some clothing stores, tourist shops that sell souvenirs, jewellery stores, shoe stores, a market).

Also be aware that the shops inconveniently close up from about 12:30pm to 3:30pm for lunch/siesta. Restaurants and cafes will be open all day.

There should be someone to help you in English, just know what beach or train station stop you need to get to.

    Cheers.

  5. Greetings.

For San Diego, I'd say go to the Zoo (if you like that sort of thing!). It's very easy to do on your own, that is, take a taxi (under $20 USD) and pay the entrance fee. You don't need a ship tour for this one. Taxis are readily available at the pier and at the Zoo for the return.

    Cheers.

  6. The weather, of course, varies.

Might I suggest adding a few long sleeve t-shirts and long trousers (jeans) for daytime. Hoodies and sweatshirts too. I've been to Alaska a few times (June, July, and an August sailing) and it's been chilly!

The kids clubs, I found, were not that warm...

    Cheers.

  7. Hi.

There is a Soda Package, but it is from the fountain, that is, mixed...

You can purchase soft drinks in cans on the ship; I believe it is around $2.00.

You may bring your own soft drinks onboard, no problem there. Some passengers bring a case or more! Yes, go ahead and purchase your favourite soft drinks ashore.

The Buffet is usually self-serve, except in the case of a Norovirus situation where then you will be served.

    Cheers.

  8. What I did when my son was young (he too preferred a bath) was to sit him down on the shower compartment floor, have the shower head angled toward the wall - so as not to spray directly on him, and let him "bathe" this way. It worked out very well.

    Cheers.

  9. We've been a few Hallowe'en cruises and they are a lot of fun! We bring our costumes and some of the staff dress up as well. There is a special party in one of the lounges or the Atrium with a band and dancing. A costume contest as well.

It's also nice to see the Hallowe'en decor around the ship; the Atrium has a nice display of carved pumpkins.

    Cheers.
