I'm sure I know the answer - but I'll ask anyway...
The $50 per port excursion credit - if we don't use it at one of the ports, can we have them apply it to a balance remaining from other another port excursion? For instance, we have a balance left over from our excursion at Tortola and we don't want to do an excursion at San Juan.
TIA!

I do wish it was up and running for our November cruise, oh well, maybe the next one!

Thanks guys!! We've upgraded in the past, but never tried to downgrade to save some $. Good to know!

Hi all - Question..
We are well past our final payment, and I'm wondering if they would let me downgrade our room level. We are Balcony BB and just want to downgrade within the balcony level since the lower level balconies are lower priced.
Would they maybe put the difference as on board credit? Or refund it? Or will they not do it at all?
Thanks! -
Ok, so like at Cagneys (our fav) which is now a la carte, it's covered as long as we only order 1 entree.

Question... we got 3 dinners at a specialty restaurant included in our balcony reservation - I just now saw that the specialty restaurants now charge per item (rather than per person like it used to be)
I assume our dining package credit thing covers the whole dinner? Or how does that work?

Digging through hotels for our pre-cruise night. We are familiar with Intercontinental and loved them, especially the waking up and watching the sunrise with ships coming into port. What other hotels can we get this at?
Thanks! -
Oh man.. up side to the free/reduced airfare not applying to our airport I guess.

Perhaps you could persuade your husband with all the food onboard that he won't have to pay extra for, since it's included in the price of the cruise!

Yeah that's a BIG plus for cruising - our fancy meals are included lol. PLUS some of these cruises even include open bar - so that's saves money on drinks too.
-
Do the land ones your looking at include shows, and food? That's the main selling point for us.

Yeah that's what I always think about - the cost of the nice meals we enjoy are not included in these hotels which cost the same as a 4-7 day cruise for only ONE night. ><

So I'm sitting here trying to plan a little romantic getaway in the fall, hubs isn't keen on the cruise idea because of the price but man - all of the *nice* land based options I'm finding locally cost close to the cost of a cruise! And you get more days with a cruise at the similar cost! Or maybe I'm just really pro cruise lol

I just had the social media package on the Sky and it worked great for keeping connected via FB messenger.
-
Well dang - we wouldn't have a problem cruising on Sky again, but I would MUCH prefer to cruise Nov-Feb when it's not quite so overbearingly hot down there. BUT I don't see that the Sky cruises there at that time? :(
EDIT: Ok I lied lol - they're there - just no open sailing yet for 2019-2020, THAT'S why I couldn't find them.

We were just on Sky. There were some kids but I wouldn't say it's a very kid friendly cruise. It's definitely more of a fun party atmosphere which we enjoyed.

Just off the Sky and loooved the atmosphere! Definitely a younger more party vibe than my past cruises. Recommendations on other ships that are similar? Or is it the Sky's open bar that attracts the younger crowd?

Does Sky have an adults only sun deck? Ideally with a bar near by lol?

Carry a separate photo ID then you can leave the original passport on board and just carry a copy.
I always carry a drivers license so it won't be an issue. :)

Plus credit card or cash.
Check!
-
That's all you need plus luggage tags.
Right, got those too :)

We were comfortable in our Dawn balcony. :) If we were in our cabin, and awake, we were usually on the balcony anyway.

Getting close and want to make sure we aren't forgetting anything - all we need to board are our Cruise Docs and Passports right? No kids with us, so don't need birth certificates right?
Excursion credit?
