  1. Yes indeed, we found the Burmese charming and gentle. If your cruise is like ours, you will find that the ships Purser invites donations for the village schools near some of the stops along the way. Pens, highlighters and indeed, any schools supplies are gratefully received as is sports equipment - especially footballs! English books or textbooks are particularly welcome - they cannot get them outside of Yangon. In the villages the ladies would often ask the female members of our group for lipstick - another unobtainable.

We used company called Tour Mandalay in Yangon and found them very good - they will also do transfers. Traffic is very bad so on no account try to DIY! Hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

  2. No swimming at all? What a big disappointment! I thought that the cage used for the Little Sisters was bad enough. Seabourn really need to rethink this and find a way to allow swimming. On Windstar you can dive straight off the Marina into the sea - their Marina days are wonderful and definitely last More than a few hours.

  3. They changed to Paphos after the first week going to Limassol, I think the complaining got to them. We found out on board.

The sea day was fun - then again we quite like sea days - but a lot of other people seemed to enjoy a day by the pool and whatever activities the crew put on .. and the spa was booked solid, so whoever runs the spa was happy.

Enjoy the cruise, wherever you go, we loved ours and all the ports we went to.

Glad to hear you enjoyed it. I am sure Paphos is more interesting than Limmosol..
