We are on the Volendam for 28 days starting Feb 17th. So many interesting ports. It has been so much work trying to organize private tours and not a lot of activity on our roll calls. Appreciate your help.:)
I see you are going to Port Klang, Malaysia The tours do not let you go up the Towers as least the cruise we did we where on Princess so it is probably the same tours ,. We just took a cab over or the ship had a bus that dropped you off at the towers for the day . BUT if you do not buy tickets in advance it will sell out and you will miss it People on our ship could not get tickets at 9.18 in the am sold out  Here is link to but tickets in advance

Thanks for the help. Kok Chang Safari said they would send a car for us and also take us to Tiger Kingdom for a total of about $18 Do you have a driver/guide that you recommend?
His name was Sirichai
Tell him that we are the ones that he took to the sapphire store at the end it was something we wanted to do he did not just take us there
What cruise are you on ???

We are thinking of doing this in Feb. How long did you spend in each place?
How long was your elephant trek? I see they go from 20 to 50 min.
We did 30 minutes after we got to the top of the summit the guide got off the elephant and took pictures all the way back with our camera
Did they treat the elephants well? yes just used his feet
When you went in to see the tigers did you go in with the big ones or the small ones? The big ones
Did you have a chance to compare with people who did Siam Safari Elephant Trek?
No We wanted one that you did not have to make a reservation and our driver even uses the one we went to
Hope I haven't overloaded you with questions. Ask away
This is a bit of a reach for me so I just want to be sure it's the right thing to do in Phuket Yes I know we did a lot of research as it is a long way
Are you using a driver >>
-
We just got back and we went Elephant trekking here kokchangsafari.com there is no set times and they will pick up at port just make sure you have Thai Baht as they do not take USD
We had our driver take us there he also took us to tigerkingdom.net that was unbelievable

On our Dec sailing on the Noordam, the blended drinks were all made individually.
Mixology class (generally offered on sea days) is a great way to mingle and taste some of the new drinks they have introduced.
Hi
Guess you is going on the cruise we got bumped off last year . The one you went on
-
I'm convinced Klein Bonaire is the place to snorkel. How do I book Woodwind snorkeling tour? Is the tour easy to get to from the cruise pier. Will be HAL Noordam sailing Dec 17, 2012.
Thanks.
We are on the ship also and booking with Woodwind
You can see who else is on the ship in the roll calls

I'm just curious how you paid for your car? Did you use Euros or use a credit card? If you used a card, was there an exchange fee? Also, did you fill the car up with gas before you returned it and if so, were you able to use a credit card for that? Thanks!
Yes there is a exchange fee on certain credit cards . I have Capital One so no charge.
The gas stations will not take a credit card unless it has microchip-embedded in it . If it is not European it will not have it. So you have to pay cash if someone is there or have the rental car company fill it up
Euro is 1.26 against the dollar today last year it was 1.41

In Cancun thay are very $$$$$
Do you mean a day pass or weekly
-
We go to a all inclusive every Sept to break up the cruises we do and the best we have found is Excellence Resorts they have one called Rivera Cancun . First adults only no buffets except breakfast. THE only one that has a lobster restaurant at no extra charge. Have been to almost every one that is adult only. If you are looking for smaller place look at Eldorado Sea Side Suites. We do not like the ones that you have to be banded and you only get to eat in the restaurants 3 times in a week
-
Just curious if anyone can give me some names of nice all inclusive resorts in Cancun. Thanks
We go every year BUT only to adult only resorts. and we stay away from the larger ones
Am Resorts their Secrets Brand, Excellence Resorts, Karisma Resorts

Good one! I would pay more for a smoke-free cruise ship/line! Definitely worth the money!
It was tried by Carnival

Bingo revenue keeps fares down.
Correct How can they sell a 7 day cruise for 7-Day Western Caribbean
Inside Oceanview
from $249 from $329
Unless they make it up selling something else BUT the something else is not something you HAVE to buy
Or go to all inclusive and pay 135.00 per day and everything is free including bingo and liquor and tips and everything else you get on a ship
THE OLD SAYING PAY MORE AND GET MORE :D
