I was not able to use my SM credit for Culinary classes on line or when I called.

If it was based on new revenue then you would think our$3600 bid would have won, but it didn’t. Both of us bidders were in SVs cabins to start so the chain of upgrades would have been the same.
Obviously non of knows for sure. Do you think you roll call member may have given you what they bid for just on person and forgot to double it?
In your example the third party/Celebrity did not maximize their upside. They would have made more money to take your bid and just reject the other bid as they already had the money from the other person’s original person.

Yes, this is why I said might. When we tried to book flights more than 4 days prior to the cruise date we were informed by our TA that we would have to pay for the flight in full. Since we were not 100% committed to our arrival date we decided to wait and book on our own once we sorted our pre-cruise plans. We have used Celebrity Air and will again in November as we were not 100% locked in but wanted to lock in a reasonable price. Have since then 100% committed to going but since the price is less than what I can get on my own we will use Celebrity Air.
Flying from longitudinal central (east/west) Canada is getting to be more expensive and less convenient to Florida.

This has not been my experience. You do not need your TA to book FBC. You can get a quote directly in line and test the accuracy of what your TA is telling you.

I would not assume that you will get free drinks at the retreat sundeck as officially you do not, but some people have reported that they did. I suggest if they ask for your your card that you clarify if you care.

We love it and dine there once per cruise.

Just to be clearer, I'm not asking about the number of days airlines allow you to book a flight prior to flying. I'm fully aware of the 330 days rule.
I'm asking if the first flight has to be within a specific number of days of when your cruise sails when booking through EZAir. In our case we will need to fly to Japan about 18 days before our cruise. I'm guessing this won't be a problem, but I'll be able to definitively verify this in a few days.
In order to build your confidence, you can pick a random cruise the departs much earlier and test it by getting a flight quote.

They have changed. I can't say change as in an improvement. Still won't eat the canapés. Pretty to look at, but sketchy at best.
I just departed my cruise on Saturday, so my assessment must be on the new ones. Never cared for the previous ones, either. Did not negatively affect my cruise as I had plenty of great food.

One time in Ft. Lauderdale we were able to board in a separate line with the crew before everyone else got on.
That is what Princess said recently when we did a B2B.

Agree with Cajuntraveler about the canapes!
The worst list of canapés in the industry by a mile and they never change.

The reality still remains that the OP took a gty in Category DF , gambled and isn't happy. When the cruise opened up after the build wasn't it available to OP to look at the cabins and book then letting the GTY go? I suspect the price of the GTY was too good to give up. GTY'S sometimes work out and sometimes not.
OP booked a DF GTY because it was all that was available. OP knew he might end up with a DF cabin Because that's what they Chose to book. Hoping something else opens up isn't a given.
I hope for the OP's sake something opens up and they can move to a different cabin.
The OP states that it was not determined that a DF would be an assessable balcony cabin when he booked.

There may have been 2 available someone did bid more than you but you were second.
The lack of transparency allows this sort of attempt for more money.
Since there are various amounts bid for the cabin that is vacated, it has to be a complicated process. At least most people get the opportunity to participate (if their TA allows it). Not really transparent, but certainly more transparent than the previous system before bidding was implemented.

Does the AP show that you have the Premier package? Did you put in your credit card info and see if the reservation says 0 due as the total?
some people have been having issues for some unknown reasons, but many of us have been able to make reservation in advance without paying.
Goof luck.

I suggest you factor in the weather/season when your decision. We did a repositioning cruise from Hawaii to Sydney on a different cruise line in October. Therefore the weather was cooler has we cruised to New Zealand.

True. But for me and my February 2024 free suite-benefit 360 Experience, it was listed under the 'services' section with a zero dollar cost. Hence, I'm assuming that's their standard procedure.
It was the same in my case.so I was wondering whether it a
was listed under @Yg13’s detailed summary. If yes, they could make a strong argument.

If you can get bookings at all that is. I tried to book within days of the booking becoming available through the app and all times in all restaurants were already fully booked! I am in a suite so I will likely ask the concierge to see if he can obtain bookings otherwise the 2 included speciality dining meals with Premier will be lost 😞
I suggest you book as soon as you board. Princess does not prebook all available spots in advance. The speciality restaurants on the 4/6 Enchanted cruise were very busy.

I always book with EzAir. I book the day they become available for my cruise. I have not had any problems with EzAir with flights to FLL and Europe.
I pick the time and dates I want with Flexible, a day or two pre and post cruise depending on the flight times and price.
I check the prices daily and modify (not cancel) if the price has gone down. Example - My EzAir - Flexible - Sept - YYZ-YVR and Oct - SFO-YYZ I have $620.30 CDN/pp, today the same flights $801 CDN/pp.
When final payment is close, I check direct with the airline and take the best price.
With EzAir - Flexible- you can book and modify you booking up to 45 days with no $ penalty. Pay at cruise final payment.
If you book direct with the airline - you pay at time of booking, can not modify without paying a $ penalty.
EzAir price does not include luggage fees.
I use the same strategy. Fortunately for me if I book direct, I do not pay a penalty.

Appreciate the response. I’d certainly consider paying for it, but The phone reps confirmed that it is a complementary benefit for suite guests, do you have a link where it indicates that the suite comp was discontinued?
I have the two emails that I received about it. If you log into Princess.com/manage reservations/luggage tag and print summary do you see it listed with any of your other package benefit.
if you search in here, you should be able to find a thread discussing about the change.
Here is part of the email that I received at the end of January.

And because you booked a suite before December 1, 2023, it won't cost you a thing!
This epic, seven-course journey transports you to the Mediterranean.
We can’t give away the menu, but we can give you a sense (or five) of what to expect:
- Seven courses showcasing the best of Mediterranean cuisine perfectly paired with cocktails and wine
- Dazzling imagery in a room wrapped with hi-def screens
- Stunning hi-res sound for a unique sonic element
- Enticing aromas pumped into the atmosphere
- Captivating stories about the food you’re enjoying ? and the people who produced it
Space is limited, so secure your seat at the table with your suite concierge as soon as you're on board. “

We will be on the Enchanted on April 27th in a full suite. Per my earlier post our friends who are also in a full suite were told by Princess that the Go lounge was a pilot and they are no longer offering it. Would you mind asking the suite concierge if that is accurate? Our CVP is still looking into this for us, he had never even heard of the Go lounge!
I will check after the next cruise boards.

About a month ago, in March
Bad news. The 360 experience is no longer free for those booked in a suite after December 1, 2022. It was an absolutely amazing experience that I highly recommend.

I am currently on the Princess Enchanted. I did not receive an invite, since I was curious (for next time), I ask the Suite Concierge who gets invited. He said it was a random selection process.
Earlier someone mention that they were able to call their PVP and get invited, which seems to contradict what the Concierge said.

1. Your app does show how many alcoholic drinks have been put against your package
2. If the made it 30 for two people instead of individually then on a day when my wife is feeling a little peaked and only has say 3 drinks then I could drink 27 drinks. You would not want to see that
Where do you go on the AP to see the number of drinks that has been allocated to you?
Thanks

When did you book your cruise?

Exactly, but they charged me each of these items. We spent less then our non refundable credit of $350.00. I did not expect the difference to be refunded. I gave them $856 in gift cards. I expect that back. Instead they added these and other charges until my credit balance was 00. When we left we had a summary showing our credit, then they sent me a revised summary
You had already paid your $80 a day for the Premier package and they did not give you a refund for the package, correct? So you had $856 in gift cards that you applied to your account and created $858 refundable OBC.
I wonder if they put the Gift Card money back on your Gift Cards?I just thought someone might be misunderstanding the “retail value” of the Premier package that are listed.
what a mess. Good luck.

We were medically disembarked from our cruise. Not the ship's fault and the medical staff were amazing. Before we left my husband got a copy of our account stating we had around $1000. credit. Later they sent me a summary charging for:
Contra-Premier Specialty Dining $58.80
Contra-Premier Premium Desserts (unlimited) 192.71
Contra-Premier Crew Appreciation 112
Contra-Premier Wi-Fi (4 devices] 279.93
Contra-Premier Beverage Package 247.41
We had the Premier Package!! They also charged $58 each for missing our dinner reservation that was after we were disembarked. And we were not reimbursed for the excursion we had to cancel, because I was in the medical center, which they told my husband we would not be charged.
I added $850..60 in gift cards to my folio, which should have all been refunded.
I have emailed Princess, I have called twice, my TA has called and all I receive is a standard email, they appreciate my patience. Someone will get back to me soon. It has been almost a month. Ideas please on where to from here.
This is not even touching on the 21/2 days we were isolated for COVID (the end of the 1st half of the back to back and the 1st day of the second half, which was completely separate from the reason I was in ship's medical for 2 days before being disembarked. We paid that $4814.20 bill to them. Before anyone asks, yes we had Princess Platinum insurance plan and they have paid us for the last 2 days of the cruise that we missed. Still waiting on the medical. I am so frustrated. I want to look forward to my up coming 16 cruise, but it is hard to with this hanging over our heads.
Thanking you in advance for your help.

I believe this portion of your statement is confusing the situation. These are not items that reflect something that is owed you. These is just a reflection of the retail value of some of the items in the Plus. They are not OBC (refundable or otherwise) and no value is returned to you if not used. You should have paid the $80 a day per person when you made your final payment.
