  1. Has anyone done this excursion? Is it worth it? My husband and I are thinking about it but would love some feedback. Also, do you snorkel and helmet dive off the boat they pick you up on or do you do everything off the tiki hut area. Thanks for the help!

  2. B1 sleeps 2 while B2 sleeps 3 (on deck 12 at least). If you are planning for next summer, you are looking at the wrong categories, as deck plans will change by then. On deck 12 they will have categories 1I, 2I, and 4I

    :)

Yeah I was comparing them to the "category" map for our cruise in Aug completely forgetting that it's changing :)

I just didn't know if there was a difference but the number of people per room totally makes sense

  3. Quick question? On floors 8-11 it seems all the aft cabins 721-729 and 321-329 are all B1 category. Then on the 12th floor they are scattered throughout. I noticed the Cabin 12329 is a B2 cabin. I thought I read many like the 12th level or is it low demand. We are looking for next summer or summer after.

  4. We originally booked a boardwalk room in Feb for our Aug trip, we picked the room. Fast forward to April and a really great rate (I'm talking about more than half off what we paid) popped up for a Gty Neighborhood Balcony. We jumped on it (3.5 hours on hold but was way worth it) We were told when we booked the GTY they would be doing the assignments within a few days. Sure enough I logged in and we were given the same room we had originally booked.

We booked a GTY years ago and found out at the port what room we were assigned so that was a happy surprise to know months in advance [emoji3]

  5. Thank you for the mini review. We are planning on booking the Harmony on our Oasis cruise this summer. I'm wondering if we should rethink our decision. I will say our kids will be with us next summer and prefer a ship they will enjoy so we can enjoy our vacation too :)

We haven't sailed RC in over ten years and now we are planning on going two years in a row. We loved it ten years ago, certainly it has to be better now? Right? :)

  6. Just got off the phone with RC and it is indeed any outside purchases (excursions, drink packages, dining, internet) I was told too they weren't showing a "negative" balance, an hour and 20 minutes later, that was the response I got.

Other responses I go during the call-

1- It was an obvious overage which had already been sent to my bank for refund. I then asked what it was for, i doubt they'd freely give a refund without me phoning about a price change (i'm outside of 90 days anyway now)

2- They told me it had something to do with a gift certificate we applied to our account as onboard credit. No idea where that came from.

Anyway, just another day in Royal Caribbean world, not knowing what they are talking about :)

  7. Yes, we had the same error the other night. They assured us we still had our reservation. The girl who we spoke to said it was because we are paid in full so we can no longer access our reservation?????? (We sail in Aug) I played along and stated "well that's odd how can we add shore excursions/restaurant reservations etc. I guess we cannot give RC any more money" She then put me on hold for about five minutes and came back and said she was mistaken and there was some type of glitch in the system and it should be resolved shortly. It was back up yesterday.

The things they say to get you off the phone......

I then got an email survey yesterday asking how "XXXXXXXX" handled my call.....

    Hahahahahahahahahaha

  9. We booked a guarantee years ago and didn't find out until we checked in. No big deal, but in all honesty it was the tiniest interior room I had ever seen. We booked balcony guarantee for our upcoming cruise and were assigned a room a day later.
