  1. Does anyone know if the Coffee Place is included in the "Bar" purchases? They show the coffee bar when you look at the Promo. With Coffee, I MAY be able to come up to $400 in 5 days but I am not sure. I guess you can shake your phone for a bottle of Moet and use a bit up pretty quickly.

  2. I booked back on Valentine's Day when they first opened.

I am fully paid as of last week. I am getting the free bottle of Champagne since I am in the early sailings.

When I put the "Access Key in that rbt001 so kindly shared, it popped up and said "You've got Booty".

When I click on Tell me more, it then gives the promo information. I am (maybe stupidly) assuming it is for the sailing I have booked.

I guess I will have to wait and see.

It doesn't really make sense that Guests who booked prior to their Promo would be left out, but maybe I am being Naive.

Oh, well, I am just excited about everything right now and not much would dampen my spirits.

I REALLY hope that all who are sailing in the first few weeks share EVERYTHING with us!

  3. I have no opinion as to blame or negligence on anyone's part.

I took a Cruise over Christmas and kept thinking of this situation every time I looked at any window in the Public or Private areas because they were always covered in Salt and water spots so I wondered how anyone could think a window existed when the view is so drastically different from the panel next to it. It was blatantly obvious whether or not glass was in place.

  4. I was there on Christmas Eve. There was no sea grass in the area.

I had the Massage. It was so good, I skipped the one on the ship, which would have cost me triple what I paid with the tip.

Be forewarned, it is open on the Front and there will be other guests on either side of you. There are dividers but they will ask you to remove your swim suit top. When you need to turn over, they stand in front of you to block the view while you get it back on.

Also watch out for the tortilla chip thieves. While I was admiring the water, 2 birds came up and grabbed chips and flew off.

I would go back in a heartbeat.

  5. Hello! I may not be able to answer all of your questions, but I am also on that sailing leaving December 26th.

I am taking my adult daughter and maybe one of my other daughters will join us.

I will be aft, in a Suite.

I have sailed NCL on the Norway, Dawn and Jade. This Christmas, I will be on Dawn again. The Escape is much larger so I am excited to see all it has to offer.

I am very happy with NCL.

The Beverage package will cover Alcoholic drinks up to $15 each as well as sodas. the first 2 guests in each Cabin will get the package, if you choose it.

There are a lot more people on these boards who can tell you in more detail about everything but I will be happy to put in my 2 cents if you have anything specific for me.

Welcome to the Forum! Maybe we will meet on board!

    Cheryl

  6. The maximum allowed on Dawn is 7 per Garden Villa. In order to accommodate the 7, one would need to be on the couch, which does not pull out, or perhaps they can bring in a Roll Away. When I had a party of 8, I had 4 of us in the GV and 4 in an Owner's Suite. That way everyone had the full Suite privileges. You could choose one of the cheapest Suites for the overflow.

  7. I think the asterisk may be referring to "*Offer excludes a small selection of rare fine vintage wines, champagnes and spirits."

I found this in an article in the Press section at the bottom of the webpage. It is the one about Geri Halliwell experiencing the Mega Rock Star Suite.

The way I read it, The Mega Suites will have liquor replenished at no cost, except for the certain brands.

I do not know about drinks around the ship.

I am excited to find out! I am not in a Mega Suite but I am sure there is someone out there who will be happy to report the details.

  8. Now posted on the VV site:

As announced today, to ensure that Mega RockStars always look red-carpet-ready, Virgin Voyages will now have a dedicated hair and makeup crew available for them upon request.

Mega RockStar Suite Sailors will now be able to indulge in beverages to their heart’s content thanks to access to unlimited complimentary alcoholic and specialty beverages* in all bars and eateries onboard, plus a free personalized bottomless in-room bar*.

Should they seek time to unwind, Mega RockStar Suite Sailors can head to Redemption Spa’s thermal suite, the ship’s mermaid and merman hideaway complete with a hydrotherapy pool, mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, quartz beds-- where they will now receive complimentary access throughout their voyage.

What’s more, Mega RockStar Suite Sailors will receive complimentary laundry service, plus the option to curate bespoke activities in any port-of-call, tailored to fit individual needs and requirements. Be it foodie experiences or private tours of local landmarks, no ask is too big for the RockStar Agents. RockStar Agents will tend to their rockstar rider list, digging up whatever their heart may desire to make their voyage perfect-- all red gummy bears, an electric guitar and beyond.

The Mega RockStars Suites are primely located on deck 15 of the ship and feature a Peek-A-View outdoor shower. Designed by Tom Dixon’s leading design research studio and inspired by mega yachts and rock and roll style icons like Grace Jones, the Mega RockStar and RockStar Suites offer an unrivaled onboard experience.

    How All RockStars Will Sail
While all Sailors enjoy unlimited WiFi on board, as part of Virgin Voyages’ new expanded offerings all RockStar Suite Sailors will now enjoy upgraded premium WiFi with streaming.

The new offerings will complement the robust existing benefits of all RockStar Suite Sailors, which include:

    ●   RockStar Agent support from time from time of booking, to sail away and throughout the voyage
    ●   Backstage access at every corner, with early access to onboard entertainment, restaurants, Shore Things and more
    ●   Luxe private transfers to and from the ship in Miami
    ●   An exclusive express pathway to the ship during embarkation
    ●   Access to Richard's Rooftop - RockStar Suite Sailor’s very own VIP private club, a secluded place for them to bask under the sun or have a drink under the stars
    ●   Access to an exclusive VIP area at The Beach Club at Bimini
    ●   A fully stocked in-room bar with the first round on the house
    ●   Wardrobe team to help unpack and repack
    ●   Complimentary pressing service
    ●   Nightly express swimsuit drying service
    ●   Premium linens and a plush European king bed
    ●   Upgraded bath amenities for pampering

While I would probably love the access to the Thermal Suite, I don't think it is worth another $5,000 a week (5 days) that it cost to bump up to the Mega Rock Star Level. Adding in unlimited drinks package doesn't do it either.

I will be very happy with my current Cheeky Corner Suite and first round of drinks on Richard!

  9. We sailed to Norway from Southampton last summer. Since it was 12 days, I purchased 2 cases. We only went through one case and put the full, unwrapped case out with our luggage the night before we docked. When we got down to get our bags, the case was ripped open and half of the bottles were missing. We were in a Suite so our luggage was in the "priority pick up area" which was near the front and I think people just reached in and took it as they passed by. I would recommend getting it but don't over estimate what you will really drink!

  10. What is Virgin Voyages' cancellation policy?
    sss

"Our cancellation policy was created to provide a better experience for our Sailors. Here's what you need to know:

    - You have the most flexibility outside of 120 days prior to your voyage. If you're booking at this time, you have a 7-day grace period to request a full refund on your deposit and any other payments made. Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment.
    - After the grace period (but still before the 120-day mark), you can receive a full refund on any payments, not including your deposit. For your deposit, you can request a Future Voyage Credit at this time.
    - Between 119 and 45 days, any funds paid will be converted to Future Voyage Credit, good to use on any voyage 1 year from the original voyage start date. Sweet deal, huh?
    - Within 44 days of your voyage, all funds paid are final. But you do have the option to send a mate in your place up to 48 hours before your voyage, if you really can't sail.

Have more questions? No worries. Our Sailor Services Crew or your travel agent can help walk you through the process. As always, we recommend you purchase our Voyage Protection."

The FAQs are long but worth reading!

  11. 4 days ago I booked 5 nights on Sun leaving December 22, 2019. I am sailing by myself in an Aft Penthouse.

I was given the Premium Plus Beverage Package as one of my add ons.

I also have a 7 day booked for December 2020 which I reserved a few months ago and it has the Premium Package.

As time gets nearer, I am hoping the Premium Plus will be offered and I can just ask for the upgrade at no cost. A girl can always dream....
