Sounds like they are in the planning stages and haven't rolled it out yet. I suspect we will see it reappear in the not too distant future:mad:
It's just a "temporary pop-up experience" like the kobe burger. ;p

Use cpap so I submit special needs form well ahead of each sailing. X always sends email confirm yet at embarkation water and extension cord usually aren't in cabin and steward claims he wasn't notified. Always manages to produce them for us though so believe they must maintain a large inventory.
Same here. I really don't think submitting the special needs request does anything for the extension cord. Maybe if they have a lot of requests they will add to the ship's stocks. Also they don't know which side of the bed you want to sleep in. I requested our cabin attendant to run the cord under the bed to the other side close to the bathroom. So he had to find the longer cord. It was ready by the time we came back from dinner.

Seeing mixed comments on the boards about what's included and even the Celebrity website is a bit confusing. Both include coffees, Classic includes "premium" while Premium package includes "specialty"....what is the difference? Both include bottled water but Premium includes Evian, etc. I thought Premium also included frozen virgin drinks but I read on the board that classic got that too. Is that true?
Lastly, can these packages also be purchased and perhaps even upgraded onboard similiar to the alcohol packages?
It is a few years old but this thread talked about the difference between premium and specialty coffee:
http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1801622
I think the biggest benefits of premium N/A are the red bulls, smoothies, sparkling water, and vitamin water. I can't really taste the difference between Evian and their generic bottle of water.. the Evian has a bigger bottle though.
I know you can purchase it onboard.. not sure about upgrading though.

I think the kids club will have open house on the first day. You may want to take your kids there to check it out.

Since their behavior annoyed you, why didn't you ask to be moved to a different table?
It is not annoyed. It was more awkward. It would be more awkward if we asked to be moved. They are nice people just we have nothing in common other than our kids are the same age. But I felt like my kid is corrupting their kid with evil temptation.

I am looking at MSC Meraviglia's deckplan and it said ALL of their interior state rooms could only sleep 2. The only rooms that could sleep 4 are suites or balcony rooms.
Nevermind, I didn't scroll down far enough. Looks like the interior state rooms that could sleep 4 are
IW, I3, I2, I1.

It is kind of awkward when the other family started praying before meal and your family just watch them silently... every night... for 7 nights....
It is also awkward when their kid is not allowed to play video games or watch internet video and your kid wanted to tell their kid how cool this new game is.....

You can check this thread too, almost exactly the same question was asked:

Good Morning,
As we get closer and closer to our cruise date I am getting more e-mails concerning excursions and add ons to our reservation.
This morning I got an e-mail about purchasing the "All Inclusive Digital Online Plus Prints Photo Package".
From the short intro I got it sounds ok.
Anyone have any Moree info or experience with this item, your feedback will be greatly appreciated !
Is that the unlimited one? I didn't have it on our last cruise but I know someone who got it. It was really good if you like to keep the pictures. Basically every picture they took of you became free (both digital and physical print). My uncle had it and at the end of the 7 days cruise, he had like 50+ 8x10 photos + all the digital prints. I think it was like $250 or something like that.
In comparison, we got the 10 or 12 8x10 pictures package.. it was like $100 something and it didn't come with digital prints. Without any package, I think it is like $25 per 8x10 print.

Celebrity Cruise Roll Call:

You should post in the Celebrity Forum. You will get more answers.
I have not been to the Tuscan Grill, but tried Qsine and Murano. Both were great.
You don't need to bring towel for pool or excursion. The pool has them. The night before a port, the room attendant will put excursion towel in your room. You return them to the dirty towel bins when you reboard the ship.
You can try the port forum. They have reviews on some of the tours in the ports.
Ship pass is a card.
Did you search in the roll call forum for Celebrity cruise?

Maybe try i m g u r . C o m ? Just do not publish to the gallery unless you want the images voted on.
I guess you know that that site is somehow blocked on this forum by adding the spaces in the URL. I tried to get them to unblock it but nothing is happening yet.

We don't use the transfer partners often enough, for this card to interest us. Instead I use the Delta Platinum and SPG for airline & hotel points. As great as it was, I don't even pay attention to sign up bonuses when considering.
My question is, how are prices on the Chase Portal? If I book though hotels.com the Bellagio in Las Vegas for $149, on July 4th, would it reliably cost me 9,933 reward points through Chase?
Chase UR Portal will usually have the same hotel prices as most major hotel booking sites like hotel.com, travelocity, expedia, etc... If it shows $149 on Chase UR Portal, then yes it would be 9933 UR points. You have to be more careful when booking airline tickets on Chase UR Portal. Lately Chase will only show economy tickets with Basic Economy (the lowest price ones). That means you don't get to take a free carry on....or choose a seat. There may not be an option on Chase portal to pay a little more for Economy, because those tickets are not showing up.

I wouldn't want to work a month on a cruise ship in any position. We have a friend signed up for 6 months on Oasis of the Sea at Caribbean. She was very excited thinking that it is a dream job. She couldn't last the length of her contract. She has an officer ranking so she could go off at ports, but even then she said it is really really lonely. Yeah you make friends with crews but you are cut off with your normal life. Some crew members can't get off at port or even go up on the deck. They just work, sleep, eat, work, and repeat.
Having said that, if I HAVE to work for a month, I would be the person at the Gelato station across from the Coffee shop. Almost no one ever buy Gelato.. so you just stay there all day don't have to do anything! I wonder if they will let you read LOL.

Were going on our first 7 day western carribean cruise on Oct 22 how much small bills should I bring I take small bills as in 1s and 5s maybe , a hundred each would be sufficient?
Sent from my LGL83BL using Forums mobile app
I think 100 1's is way overkill! Unless you are going on a strip clubs tour! LOL :D. I only use 1's to tip the hotel (not cruise) room maid daily.. like $3 a day. Or the valet for hotel valet parking, $3 to $4. Most of the other tips would be in $5 or $10.
I try to put away the nice looking 1's and 5's when I get them. It's like a piggy bank for vacation tips!

Is that a work visa stamp or an I-551 stamp? You can always go out on the British passport, but coming back to US you need the green card or a VISA. I think your worst case scenario is that you get your citizenship a week before your trip and you don't have enough time to get your US passport.
You can keep your British passport once you are an US citizen, but you are suppose to leave and enter US with an US passport as an US citizen. Once you are outside of US, you could use your British passport. I suppose they may not know that you are an US citizen if you use your British passport to enter US, but it is illegal I believe.

Many escalators advise users to stand on the right, walk on the left.
Unless you are in Tokyo. Then you stand the the left and walk on the right! :D

Does the current promotion end in two days? Perhaps X will be clearer then (or may be not );)
You mean like their previous promotion? That one said everyone gets free drinks and free wifi, 1st and 2nd passengers choose 2 perks. LOL :D
The current promotion is 1 perk but price is lowered by about 1 perk. The next promotion will probably give you 3 perks and raise the price!

After googling and digging through some PDF's, it seems that this is what X defines as evening chic. Very relaxed and much more casual than what I had in mind. Looks more like stuff people would wear when they are going to the club or a bar.
I dress very similar to the men in the picture but I think most men dress like people going to a convention or trade show. A few tux here and there and you do notice people wearing tux. They look good and they do stand out from the crowd.

We have been traveling with two 26", but our kid is getting older and I thought about getting a 3rd one. The only thing that stopped me is the ground transportation. Regular car won't fit three 26" plus carry-ons in the trunk. That means you have to rent a Van or SUV, or get UberXL or Lyft Plus, etc... so I bought some packing cubes instead.. and see if they help on the next trip.

My wife likes Murano not because they have great food, but because they asked her if white napkin is okay or if she preferred black. We never had anyone asked us which color of napkin we preferred at a restaurant LOL. The food was good but the napkin color choice took the cake. :D

We had a big group on our last cruise. Our TA put down some of our b-days on that week but none of our b-days were actually on the week.. just + or - 1 or 2 weeks. So we asked at MDR which days were our b-days and if we could just celebrate them all on the same night. But our waiter put us thru to the dining room manager and the manager gave us a contact at event service. We ended up getting our own private event at the Sky Observation lounge on a sea day with an entire section reserved for our party.. with cake and private server to get us drinks. It was amazing.

Isn't it easier to get a WD external drive that ingest SD card without a laptop?

Roaming and going to places alone are sort of different The age so depends on the child.
It also depends on the parents. When my mom (in her 60's) visited my grandparents, my grandpa would wait up for her when she came back home a little late.. like after 10pm... :D
She told us about it and we thought it was cute. :')
How Many Kids on a Spring Break Cruise?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I am not so sure about Disney. Our son is 11 and he had been on a Disney cruise when he was around 8, and Celebrity cruise back in April this year. We asked him if he rather to go a Disney cruise or Celebrity cruise, he said Celebrity cruise 10 out of 10. :D But he is not really into Disney stuff since he stopped watched Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
I think he will like RCCL though. My son said there were about 15 kids in his age group in the kids club on Celebrity cruise during spring break this year at the Caribbean.
