Since I totally missed lunch at the YC Restaurant I checked out the buffet… and what should I say… it was a total disaster. WAY too to many people, not enough food, chairs, tables… i made two full rounds and couldn’t find a single space to park my fabulous behind… So I resorted to this: Pizza delivery in my Cabin! that is Pizza #12 MSC Style on the photo it looks burned but it actually wasn’t. it was a very good pizza even! Delivered hot and crisp! i almost jumped out of my skin again when the announcement for the mustard drill for everyone embarked today blared through my teeny tiny inside cabin… almost threw my piece of pizza and stuck it to the ceiling… that would have been fun to explain to my butler…

I checked out the Hairdresser today. Prebooked a package for 69€ this is before: and this afterwards: Good job Morne! I am very happy with that!!!

Welcome to the gang! glad to hear that you enjoy it! Well… YC is not everything. Yes it is a whole different experience but the ‚normal‘ experience is one too! I have done either and wasn’t unhappy with the regular experience. You just cope with what you can do. i would be perfectly happy with it. Everything in YC is just extra for me.

Gooood morning from not yet Marseille! Babyyyyy it’s cold outside! It‘s EXTREMELY windy on deck! Even I with my extra bacon have problems walking without skidding or toppling… Cooper would be picked up and fly away… but then my 5 Kilogramms of fake Micropiggy wouldn’t go outside in the first place in that weather. Nope! We stay in bed or on the couch in this weather! Mommy can go alone! back to the trip report though! Yesterday for the first time, I encountered something that made me very sad and angry… BECAUSE it is so cold outside, smoking in the open air areas is not very pleasant… What do we smokers do? We seek shelter in the Smoking room… why shouldn’t we? It‘s adults only, it’s heated, no wind in there, no non smokers… Yesterday there was a young girl inside. 15 maybe 16… that REPEATEDLY got told by staff that she couldn’t be there… Long story short: at some point security had to intervene when she started yelling that she can do drugs whenever she wants because she knows about drugs more then all of us together… the faces in the room… from confusion to amusement over anger to ‚are you stupid?‘ everything was present… After that I went to bed. Now I am in the smoking room again, enjoying it empty for once and anxiously waiting for the Atmosphere bar to open so I can get my redbull!!!! I forgot to ask my butler to please stick my minibar with it. AAAAARRRRRG!

How freaking cute is that !!!! like always after dinner, I folded my napkin into something. Today: a Ship… it’s sail away day! What else would I fold? but then this happened… while I finished my wine, one of the waiters in LIGHTNING Speed folded this and brought it to me: AWWWW 🥰🥰🥰

Let’s keep it up as long as it works… Lets go to Dinner! Today on the menu: my starter: the Chinese dumplings. they were VERY good. And just because I was stupid and took bread… I dipped it in the rest of the sauce. Was very good too. the main: the butter Chicken! it was good. The right amount of spice. Behind the Papadum is the rice… didn’t make a photo of that… but it was almost too much rice for the amount of chicken and Sauce. But let’s move on! the dessert that I get served while I am tipping this: the Tart Tatin First bite… not impressed… at all… it’s cold. nothing to add to that… one more picture! the table decoration! i really like this blood red orchid!!!

THEY DID LISTEN!!! let’s add some COLOR!!! my first Lunch on board: since nothing from the Yacht Club Restaurant Menu appealed to me I went up to the grill. As starter I took quite a big portion of the Seafood salat… what should I say… it’s seafood salat… there isn’t much to say… it was… okay… the main! a portion of the Pasta with Pesto sauce and a beef steak with vegetables. FINALYYYY! Is my MSC Pasta curse broken? I had a GOOD portion of Pasta! 😱 I still can’t believe it! But it was YUMMYYYY!!! the steak… it wasn’t a shoesole… but it came close… MSC Grill: Hit and miss! Nothing changes no matter on sich Ship you are… and my dessert. NO that is NOT a Cappuccino. That’s a hot Chocolate with Baileys all in all an Okay Lunch

Hello my dear! i will try to answer your questions. 1. Depends on the Ship and the bartender... i have so far not encountered any problems with ordering a extra shot in any drink. But i DID hear about some bartenders not doing it from others. 2. Like RCCL. If it's included in your package they safe the paper and you don't have to sign or sign on a tablet. 3. i would advice you to book the absolute latest time you want to go every day. If you go earlier on a whim they usually accomodate you if there is space in the thermal area. 4. Same! The times for self debarkation are pretty early though and plan a bit more time to go through customs with your luggage... at least that is what i remember from last year... could have changed by now. 5. YES! There are plenty of activitis for those who stay on board. if the things they offer are to your liking is up to your preferences though... 6.Uff... was loyal to Royal for a loooong time... there are a lot of things that are different but there are also a lot of things that are essentialy the same... WAY to much to list all of them here without specific questions... Feel free to ask though! i am curently on the Bellissima myself and if i can find out an answer i am happy to help! And the curse of lagging internet hit me again! This time on my phone though... i can't even log into CC on my iphone right now... Yesterday I got up at the ASS of not even dawn… I was up at 7PM… what is my morning… and started packing in PANIK… my flight was leaving at 6 AM and thanks to living in Berlin and with that flying from the WORST AIRPORT in the world… I planned to be out there at 4 AM already… despite flying Business Class… At BER you NEVER know… So after smashing EVERYTHING into my suitcases, smoking a pack of cigarettes to calm my nerves, forgetting HALF of the stuff that I SHOULD have packed, frantically searching for my freaking passport and THEN getting dressed… Granny reminded me to pack underwear… THANKS GRANNY! Forgot the panties… now I am traveling without socks… bad Granny… should have reminded me of THAT… My plan to be at the airport at 4 AM went up in flames when I looked at the Clock… and it was 4:30 already… AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I threw my luggage out of the window and then raced after it… almost killed my UBER driver with it when I smashed it into his face and promised him 20 € Tip if he put the paddle to the metal and races me to the damn airport… What should I say… I happily gave him 30 € tip… he brought me to the airport in record time. Lufthansa Check in was thankfully a breeze. The poor guy behind the counter was probably scared when I RAN up to him, panting like a bull and screaming at him in panic that my flight is leaving in an hour!!! I DON’T HAVE TIME!!!!... he smiled at me showing all teeth and sweating heavily while he told me to put my first bag on the belt… I looked at him wide eyed and with tears in my eyes… I have a broken shoulder and can’t lift the bag… he jumped and HEAVED my 32 Kilogram bag on the belt for me… and then looked wide eyed at the second one… I told him that the other one is lighter… His mistake that he believed me… the other one has 31 Kilograms… technically that IS lighter… Then I RAN to security. And like ALWAYS had to ex the redbull I had in my handbag… then I had to throw away the 534 I also had in there… no! Just joking! It was just 26 lighters I had to dispose of… the 27th I was allowed to keep. Then I RAN to my gate, that OF COURSE, had to be on the COMPLET other side of the airport and skidded into line for boarding like the good little german I am… that I skidded in as very first to board… well… if the other good little germans are all too slow? But now to the flight. Why a connecting flight? Because it was FREAKING cheaper to fly Lufthansa BUSINESS CLASS then direct flight in economy with Ryanair and Easyjet… seriously… When I looked for flights the direct flights would have summed up to 420 € with luggage… and without food or beverage… flight time in total 2 hours 30 minutes. Lufthansa connecting flight over Munich? 380 € including a total of 64 Kilograms of Luggage, 2 pieces of Handluggage, a personal item, Lounge access, Food and drink on board, flight time 3 hours 30 minutes with connecting time… do I have to say more? All in all it was a breeze without a hitch and I arrived in Barcelona pleasantly relaxed and bone tired… I had stayed in the Intercontinental Barcelona and what should I say… the room was bigger then my entire Apartment!!!! I went to bed and was asleep like a stone in seconds. Maybe I just fell unconscious… I am not sure… I DID wake up in time for breakfast. Enjoyed it… and then PANIC packed AGAIN!!! TIME TO GO TO THE SHIP! Raced there by Taxi. Almost drove over the Yacht Club butler in the white tent, threw my passport and my Cruisetickets into his face instead and yelled. “I AM ON A B2B CRUISE WITH YOU GUYS FOR THE NEXT TWO WEEKS! I AM SORRY I AM LATE!!!!” He took it cool. Rightened my luggage. Collected my passport from his forehead and said. “Welcome Maaaadaaaaaam! Welcome to MSC Beeeeelllisssimaaaaaa! Boarding has not started yet, will need another 20 Miiiiinuuuuut!” I just replied ‘THANK the lord… then I can smoke another cigarette…’ totally out of breath. “Yes Maaadaaaaaam! Take your time! I make Check in for youuuuu!” I could have kissed him to the ground… instead I smoked half a pack of cigarettes… and then walked into the terminal with him. I DID have to wait another cigarette length until I was handed over with a “See you later Maaaaadaaaaam” to the next butler and OFF I WENT! At exactly 10:32 AM I set foot on the great MSC Bellissima!!! First thing I did? Who would like to guess? Ha? HA?

YOU ARE IN THE FREAKING SMOKING AREA! 99% of the ship are SMOKEFREE! SMOKING is just allowed on ONE side of the ship! The entire INSIDE of the ship is SMOKEFREE! Why don’t you go and stay inside with YOUR DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR and attitude or use the FREAKING OTHER SIDE OF THE SHIP to walk back and forth, while I am out here minding my own business with a cigarette and a drink… Enough of me ranting about manners… Let’s start for all that don’t know me: Who am I?: I am a 33 year old, single lady from Berlin, Germany that loves to go on cruises… I am a Nightmanager in a fairly big Hotel, that has absolutely no cruise control… they just book themselves… look at my signature here… My travels for this trip actually started yesterday so… Let’s get started with my first official day of Vacation!!!!

Just chiming in. An automatic reservation will be made for you for the first dinner in one of the speciality restaurants. You just choose the time. You can change that as soon as you are on board though. I would HIGHLY recommend you to Reservate for the rest of your cruise as soon as you are on board. They DO accommodate walk ins but it’s first come first serve… if it’s full it’s full and sometimes they are booked exclusively even for lunch. it’s also not the full menu you choose from but a ‘dinner experience’ menu. Has everything important on it though. You can still order from the full menu with a 50% discount. For example at the steakhouse: you want the T-bone but that’s not on the sample menu. It usually costs 24 $. With the unlimited package you just pay 12$ if you order it. I hope that helped! greeting from Germany!
