Hey everyone! I have done a bit of searching and have a few questions still about the beach beds at A-beach (can’t remember the name exactly right now) that I can purchase on the cruise planner.
Motive: I’d like to surprise my husband with our own spot instead of fighting for some elbow room on the loungers. My only hesitations are no shade, not being able to leave our stuff to explore, and I’ve heard C-cove is the better beach (why can’t I recall the names??? Sorry!)
No shade on the beds?
Is there any way to sit up on the beds or are they flat?
How far are the bathrooms? Bar?
How frequent is drink service?
How much to tip? At the end, or per service?
Can we go off and explore and come back with our stuff safe? Should we tip our server before we go to ask them to watch our stuff?
Can we buy (tip) loungers & an umbrella to be placed with our bed?
Please feel free to add anything! I’m off to go tutor nursing students, and will check back tonight. Thank you!!

Good day,
I always do everything through my husband's account (old habit). I am doing the check-in stuff, and it asks for each of our crown and anchor numbers. I have one for him, but I don't know about me... Will it be the same for both of us? Can I just have the one number for both of us?

I watched a documentary on cruise ship food called Mega Food (its on Netflix now, season 1 episode 2—it uses Oasis). It shows that the tails go on board frozen. The day of lobster service they defrost them. If they’re cheap the next day, I’d imagine because they couldn’t get rid of them all. I wouldn’t call it “not fresh” because it would only have been defrosted about 24 hours for next day’s dinner.
Check out the documentary. It was pretty cool.

Do you have early or late dinner?? We were limited to 3 lobsters apiece in November but I'm thinking it was so they didn't run out for the late dinner (we were early).
And if you like mudslides, ask for a BBC - they're delicious!

A question regarding this... how do I transport these two bottles? Do I just carry them in hand? Should I place them in my carry on, or in my luggage?
I think I would feel weird just holding them, but if that’s what everyone does...

I spent the morning in the solarium. There were a few passing showers but I had a chair right under the roof so my stuff stayed dry. I sat in the pool while it passed with a melon mojito. The drink of the day. Something I noticed is a few weeks ago I saw someone posting the drink of the day at $8. They are now $10. I didn't have my camera with me when I ordered so I couldn't get a pic of the sign.

Coconut mojitos were my FAVE last cruise! You must try one if you like coconut.
Also love to hear about the chair police. I’m not a chair hog, nor am I confrontational, so I worry about not getting one. Hope they’re doing this on Harmony as well!

You will have to spend a bit more time at the cruise terminal doing check-in. There will also be a short delay getting into the terminal building while they lookup your name on the manifest.

Just wanted to say thank you! I screenshot your comment to look into it further since I have Netflix. I just watched the documentary and it was SO COOL! Definitely gives me a huge appreciation for the whole mammoth undertaking! I suggest the documentary to all who want to see how it’s done.
It makes me want to go behind closed doors and thank them enthusiastically! We never see any of these people, and what they do for us is truly amazing.
It’s called Mega Food, and it is episode 6. Hope everyone checks it out!

Unfortunately No. I had the door closed and curtain pulled. They only played 12-1:30 3-4:30. Sea days port day was 3-5:30. Of course that changes with each CD.
