  1. We just returned from a June 3rd sailing on the Fantasy. We went to guest services 1st thing when boarded. Received tickets for everything that required them. Was put on a wait list for the court tea and got a call the 2nd day to say yes we could get them. Was worth every Pennie/dollar :)

  2. I took the advise to ask engineering to lower the temperature. They were hesitant to do so saying the room would eventually get cooler. I told them that I HAD to have it cooler so they did. It was an easy fix. The man just removed the box. It took him 3 minutes. Was really glad that I did. My daughter asked how did my room get so cool. Hers on the lowest temp (3 blue dots) was like mine with only one blue dot. So very glad that I asked.

  3. The bathtub was rectangular. Not sure of the difference in size from the round ones but I am 5"4 and fit fine. Well, enough to soak alittle which was so much better then only having a shower like most ships offer. Loved it and the split bathrooms were GREAT!!!

  4. Multi day passes are sold only on the ship. The pass is for a person' date=' so no, you are not supposed to give someone else your KTTW and let them go instead of you. There is typically a large discount on a "couple's pass" where a couple is defined as any two people--so you could purchase a couple's pass for your daughter and her husband...or for you and your daughter or any other combination.

The "length of cruise" pass is a good deal only if you go every day. Miss one day and you'd have been better off with individual day passes. The shorter passes (3/4/5 day on a 7 day cruise) work better for me as they allow me to select which days I don't go and still get a discount over individual days. When you go to the spa tour, they give you a bit of a hard sell about how they only sell a certain number of these passes and when they are gone, too bad. I've even had them name specific numbers on other cruise lines (the spa is operated by the same company on each line I've been on and each line has something that resembles the rain forest). But I've NEVER had them refuse to take my money when I wanted to use the facility. I've read of it happening on the Dream and Fantasy, but never experienced it myself or with any person I know. Another thought--I've found that I love it on "off season" cooler cruises, but not so much on warm weather cruises.[/quote']

    Thank you very much!!!

  5. I see where we can pre-purchase day tickets to the spa rainforest. I read somewhere you can buy Day, 3 or week pass also pay extra for scrubs.

If so, can you let a family member go in your place if yu do not want to go? Would like to treat my daughter and her husband but not sure if I can do this on the boat. Thank you.

  6. I was implying nothing.

The ship fills in at least 3 different ways; number of cabins available' date=' number of persons at each lifeboat station, and number of children in each age group. There must be space in each of these for a child to book and in the first 2 for an adult to book.

Yes, people shuffle around people in cabins on a regular basis. It makes sense to book in the most prudent way possible and there is nothing wrong with shuffling people and cabins. My concern was whether you knew that these are 3 person rooms, given that your previous posts have told us that you are cruising with an extended family. I have no idea what your plans may or may not be and whether they would work in 3 person cabins.[/quote']

Please excuse me for the misunderstanding. We have 3 couples and 4 children two of them are under the age of 2.

  7. I found out that the connecting rooms ONLY on 4E have a rectangular tub every third stateroom. This is a fact. "However" those rooms do NOT have a pull down bed.

As far as occupancy, the ship only will allow so many people to sail at a time.

As long as your cabin has an extra bed you are allowed to let your grandchild or whomever sleep on it.

The stewards know what's going on. Not sure what you are implying.

    Thank you for your concern.

  8. we will have 2 staterooms that connect. 5158 & 5160. Pictures show 5160 has a rectangular tub. 5158 round. Not sure if it's an optical illusion but 5160 looks larger (which I would like). It also shows a sitting chair in cabin and 5158 does not. They are both 4E with the extended balacony.

Could someone please help me on this before we board. I have my choice right now.

    Thank you!!!

  9. The AC is on a pre-set which you can alter a little. However' date=' your stateroom host can make it warmer or cooler for you--more than your control over the AC allows. Another key point is that if people leave their balcony doors open, it messes up the AC for that entire section of cabins. Most people who bring fans do it for the "white noise," not the cooling.[/quote']

Thank you. I will be sure to ask our steward/host to lower emmideatly. I knew the AC went off when doors are open but did not realize if effected. Bummer:mad:!!! My hot flash's will not be happy.
