    Sailing away from Stavanger. We experienced light rain, moderate rain, heavy rain, partly cloudy, cloudy and full sunshine in the last 15 minutes.

    I once met a Norwegian frequent cruiser and then ran into him a number of times before the shutdown. I haven't seen him since, but I recall he made reference to a Norwegian appertif that's only available in Norway. I think this is it. Cheers!

    Apparently when Huldra is finished with the men she lured in the mountains they end up in this bar. Meanwhile it's a beautiful day in Stavanger! Just when I think I'm walking in circles I find some new streets.

    The sun looks like it’s out, but just in case, Konrad’s Stout seemed safer than risking more rain. At 10.4% a stout in a wine glass seems appropriate. At moments like these, warm, dry, I wonder how that 7 hour hike to and from Pulpit Rock that @Hoopster95 is on, is working out. Hopefully this clearing weather is heading in that direction.

    Having visited the watchtower museum this statue makes a lot more sense now. Not only watching for enemies, the watchmen were the police and fire brigade of the day. They commanded respect, but I suspect the rod with sharp iron ball on the end contributed to that.
