Thanks for the info. If we are going to the train station in Bolgna, do we sign up for this on the ship, or before we leave on the cruise? Is this accurate enough to book trains tickets to Rome, our next destination? Looks like they only offer shuttle to the airport in Bolgna.

I looked at the website and it says "walking". Having been in Athens before and taking a private car is this tour all walking?

Ok so on another note our travel agent said it would be better to fly from bologna to rome instead of the train, as there is the big chance of the train workers striking. If we decide to do this are there shuttle buses to the airport instead of the train station?

Hi all. Heading to these two cities in May 2024 and have searched the boards but it seems that neither of these have gotten much attention. For those of you that have been there, any recommendations for things to do? Ive looked at Viator and they seem to have a lot of Blue Cave and sunset tour offerings, but nothing really around the cities. thanks

So the ship will have the option of the two different buses to either Ravenna or Bologna train stations? Would we be able to book these in advance or would it be good to wait till we depart?

Looking at May/June 2024 but i cannot find train schedules or tickets for the Vencie to Ravenna portion, nor for the Ravenna to Rome (we are going to Rome after the cruise). Any ideas? Have they not released the train schedules for those times/dates?
