  1. Most likely the AC problem will be resolved by the time you are on your cruise. It is also possible that people are complaining about an AC problem because some people are leaving their balcony doors open thus creating an unnecessary problem.

Cabins are combined in horizontal and vertical blocks. When the AC system comes on in a cabin with a door tied or propped open, it runs continuously for all cabins in the block while it tries endlessly to change the temperature of the air coming in from outside the ship to match the temperature in the room with the open door.

You might have fresh air, but the cabins around you, above you and under you will be uncomfortable.

Ah makes sense that a whole block of rooms run off the same condenser. I wonder if the regulator averages the temperatures of all the rooms then

  2. So I've read that the freedoms a/c has not been working well of late in some rooms. ( we sailed on her last September and didn't notice an issue) . We have a balcony room this September. So we have heard that some people bring bungee cords to keep their balcony door open. Has anyone done this and how well does it work? Thank you kindly [emoji854][emoji568]

  3. Right after we board we go to the Steakhouse and make reservations for the first night. This was on The Freedom and they had no problem giving us a reservation. The only reason I do the first night is because I love the free bottle of wine.

Is that the only night they give you free wine or just if you make a reservation the first day? We were on the freedom last year and will sail again in September and I really want to try the steakhouse this time. I think I'll be able to convince my wife with free [emoji485] lol

  4. A guy sitting out on the Lido deck in rough seas feels an attack of sea-sickness coming on. He know he won't make it to a bathroom and and throws up in has hat.

  6. Reading all these have 1 common thread. ... some people have NO common sense and respect for others, think they are entitled to everything and it's ok to act like a douch nozzle!! And with my job as a cable tech for 20 years I get to see these people in their natural environment ( their house) and I could make you throw up in your mouth with stuff I've seen. And I've only been on a few cruises but the only thing that had bothered me was on the freedom and me and my wife were relaxing on the serenity deck. And some guy starts smoking in a non smoking area. I told him to go to a smoking area. And after a few extra words he left. I feel if you don't speak up or stand up to these self indulgent retards and put them in their place, kindly explain the world doesn't revolve around them they will do it again. Plus you'll feel better and everyone else will think of you as a superhero [emoji41]
