  1. We are considering purchasing the ultimate beverage package and note that: it does not include bottled wine or any other alcohol over$15. Am I correct in understanding that if one wishes to order wine, any wine can be selected from the menu, as long as it does not cost more than $15 per glass? Is the wine of choice then decanted into a glass, from the bottle? The only wine we enjoy is Beringer White Zinfandel, and I am hoping this wine is available with the ultimate beverage package. Thank you for your help.

  2. We will shortly, begin planning an Alaskan cruise for September 2019.

Could anyone, who has cruised during the month of September, and who sailed out of Seattle, please give me an indication of the sea conditions during your sailing. (I know that one can't generalise, and I do understand that the conditions won't necessarily be the same when we sail, but I am hoping to get an idea).

I am not sure whether to select an inside passage cruise or whether to arrange this cruise, sailing out of Seattle.

Any advice will be highly appreciated:D

  3. If both the cruises begin and end in the USA, I don't believe that "Happiness" is correct. A back to back cruise is actually 2 separate cruises. If you are in a US port, Immigration and Customs require the ship to have "zero" passengers before they can begin boarding the next cruise; everyone needs to disembark. It is my understanding that you will be required to check in again as well. Please note, this is based upon cruises that begin and end in a US port. If you are doing to back to back from a foreign port, what I have written may not apply.

My humble apologies, we did a back to back on the Mediterranean and it was as I had posted. I wasn't aware and didn't think for one moment that it could be different anywhere else in the world, e.g. USA. Once again, my apologies for any confusion.

  4. Oh you are so lucky!! Wish it was us....

    In answer to your questions:

    1. Is there a number to call with NCL that allows you to link these 2 cruises as can be done with other cruise lines. NCL will link the 2 cruises

    2. Can you check in for both cruises on the first cruise or do you have to disembark (go through immigration, etc.) and then recheck in. You check in once at the beginning of your first cruise, and it is not necessary for you to disembark after the "1st cruise" and go through immigration / check in again. You stay on the ship with the others that are also doing a back to back and have some quiet / fun time....

3 . If you are in same cabin for both cruises, can you leave luggage in room after first cruise or do you need to send it out and then recheck it. Your luggage remains in your cabin. No need to move it and recheck it in.

Bottom line is it will be like you having one loooong cruise. Definitely no upheavals between the 2 cruises.

    Enjoy every moment!!

  5. Entourage is very cool but on other ships there is also sports courts which they would have games such as dodgeball. My 15 year old is bummed too that there is no sports court. I just told him to make friends and explore every area of the ship. Get in trouble, be annoying, have fun and be a kid

RATHER NOT BE ANNOYING. Nothing worse than being irritated by other peoples children

  6. Aerobus is the official shuttle bus service that connects the city centre (Placa Catalunya) with Barcelona Airport (Terminal 1 and Terminal 2) in 35 minutes. There are two separate Aerobuses going to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2.

Aerobuses are light and dark blue and have 'Aerobus' written down the side in a bubbly style of writing.

You can catch these buses at Placa Catalunya which is near Las Ramblas.

Plaça Catalunya has bus stops around its edges for many different bus services. It is necessary to head to the bus stop directly outside El Corte Inglés department store - on your right if you are coming from the Ramblas.

Plaça Catalunya is a large square however the Corte Inglés store is clearly visible from any part of the square therefore all you need to do is make your way over to the Corte Inglés and you will see the two Aerobus stops directly in front of the main entrance.

When you catch the Aerobus at this stop, ensure that you are getting on the bus that takes you to the terminal that you require. If you are unsure, ask the driver. If not you can end up at the wrong terminal at the airport and you could have as much as a 30 minutes additional transfer time to travel from one terminal to the other.

The Aerobus runs continually – departs Placa Catalunya every 5 minutes.

Cost was €5.90 during November 2017.

We used this bus service and it was fantastic! Happy travels.
