We will be in Bonaire in early April. Does anyone know of a beach where we can get a lounge chair/umbrella? We're not interested in snorkeling, just beach. TIA!

Thanks everyone! Mission accomplished!

Great question. If anyone knows what's included in the classic drink package, I'd be interested in this information.

We're going on our first Celebrity cruise after trying many other cruise lines and can't wait!
Is there an email address for requests such as: Distilled water to be used in a CPap machine, a sharps container, and a medical mini refrigerator? Thank you in advance for your replies.

We are at the port now no one has been allowed to enter the terminal. The line goes around the entire terminal building. We're hoping there isn't an issue with sailing.

We're also going in January of 2022. We're hoping that by then we'll be able to grab a taxi on our own to a beach.

I see that you've already had your question answered; anything goes.
On our last four cruises, we've had lunch in Chops on embarkation day. It's quite, civil, you're waited on, you get a nice lunch and it's the perfect way to begin a cruise! We make our reservations for noon. By the time we complete lunch, our cabins are ready.
Happy cruising!

We've done it several times. The lunch menu only has a few things on it, but it is served to you at your own table and is not in the crazy buffet. We make our reservation for noon. Once lunch is done, our cabins are ready. Embarkation, for me, sets the tone for my cruise. Having lunch in Chops makes it easy and calm. Enjoy your trip!

We specifically booked Empress just to dock at both Hamilton and St. George. Can't wait!

We boarded in Cape Liberty with a handicapped person using a cane. If you pass the first ramp, the looonnnngggg, steep one, there is another, shorter, more level one. It made all the difference. You should ask one of the persons working by the entrance. They will direct you. Have a great time!

We ate at JR once last week on our Adventure cruise. The service was SO bad that we asked for our grease burger to be packaged up to eat it at our chair by the pool. There weren't enough servers. We were seated outside and after a 40 minute wait, after we ordered, my husband went inside to see if there was a problem. Our server was ALSO working the counter as well as the people who did walk-up for ice cream or shakes. So, in looking at the whole experience; we waited to be seated (acceptable), we waited to order, we waited 40 minutes with no food after the order, and we waited for the food to be packaged up for take-out. It was just awful! Never going back!

Hi Drake,
I'm sure that you have been asked this question lots of times, but I scanned through postings and didn't see the answer to my question. We will be in St. Croix, for the first time, in January 2019. We are a party of 6, with several in the party on the larger side, and a few with walking issues. We'd like to take a tour of your beautiful island and perhaps end up on a nice beach with chairs and umbrellas. Do you know of any tour operators that have a roomy, air conditioned vehicle and give a great tour and history of St. Croix? Thanks in advance for any help you might give us.

Following. Doing this cruise in January.

We ONLY use our TA. We happened to find a great one some 20+ cruises ago. He is immediately responsive, no matter the time of day or the silliness of our questions. When there is a price drop, he most often finds it before us, and acts on it immediately. We have full confidence that we are getting the best price with the best TA.

I see that everyone has answered your questions, so I won't go there. I just want to say that we cruised with my Mom when she was in her 80's. It's one of my very fondest memories of her. Please try to go if you can. The memories will serve you well in years to come.

I agree with NOWHINERS. I have the Contigo 24 oz. bottle. I put ice in it and it stays ice for over 24 hours.

Hi all,
I'm sure this question has been asked, but I've perused the threads and couldn't find it. We're leaving on the Adventure of the Seas on May 11, 2018. The bungalow rentals are not available on the website. Are there typically a few available upon boarding or does this mean they're sold out?
TIA

I agree with JohninDC. We've been to Paradise Beach Club. It's nice, but it was crowded. And, it's not an all inclusive. We're going next month and plan to spend the day at Nachi Cocom. Whatever you do , enjoy!

I'm looking for a reasonably priced car rental for the day we return from our cruise in Tampa. Are there any by or at the port, or a shuttle from the port to the car rental place? We'd like to return it at the airport in time for our evening flight home.
Thank you in advance for any help or advice.

Hi all, I looked and looked and couldn't find a beach bag with the horizontal strap that can go over the luggage extended handle. I bought one a few years back because someone on these boards described it and it sounded great; and it was. The lining is coming apart and I need a new one. I know someone on CC has one and can lead me to one. TIA

Mine wasn't through Carnival, but NCL. It was to St. Lucia and it was a simple beach day ship excursion. When we got to the beach, rows and rows of lounge chairs were lined up touching one another. They also had umbrellas at every second chair. They only left enough room to walk in front of your chair. The only way to get into the chair was to sit on the bottom and shimmy up...not so pretty in a lot of cases. We were in the third row. We couldn't see the water, only umbrellas and backs of chairs. A little girl who was sitting by us couldn't play in the sand because if she did, people couldn't walk by. It was awful and a wasted day. We took lots of pictures and got our money back. We have never complained in the 20 cruises we've taken, but we felt as if we wasted a whole day and shouldn't have had to pay do do so.

I was on the Grandeur in September and found NONE of the things you spoke about. My dh and I have cruised many, many times on different lines and size ships. We found the Grandeur to be our favorite and look forward to going on her again next year. I don't think our standards are low, so I'm not sure what happened to you and your cruise...

I've just begun looking for something to do in Belize. I've read two threads so far and on both of them geeko1 has been obnoxious and rude. Why bothering to interject yourself if it's just to be obstinate? I just don't get it!
Will you still wear a mask?

We'll be wearing ours anywhere where there are potential groups of people close together. Personal preference.
Whatever you decide, happy, healthy cruising!
