Anyone on Spirit or off very recently got any copies of the dailies so we can see schedules for entertainment etc

Do they calculate tax on every drink you have or just on cost of drinks package? Also if you don't have drinks package do they charge the 20% gratuity and then 10 % tax which would make drinks very expensive

Who would want to broadcast college games and who would want to watch it? I think premiership football is more suitable for cruises!

The US should just pay staff a proper wage instead of this demand for 20% tip on everything, they need to get in the first world rather than pay slave wages

What sort of shows do they have i.e. Based on west end shows or just made up by NCL? Also do they have a variety of bands/singers on in other venues?

The US drink laws are just so archaic compared with the rest of the world, what's the problem if he is over 18 and having a drink! Most European countries let teens drink at 16 or below with parents and never check ages and they have less problems with alcohol than countries which have restrictive alcohol laws

Sail away rates booked in UK include drinks package and all service charges but not any other perks such as phone minutes etc which we're not bother about as just ring onshore using free wifi

We got a sail away rate on a balcony which includes drinks package plus all service charges. After final payment we got invite to bid on a suite, but we are happy with cabin allocated so are not going to bother bidding

Hi, do any decent U.K. Cruisers on Spirit know if they show premier league football in any of the bars and if so which one?

I booked in July for January sailing, sail away balcony for a great price.i looked at booking in September to confirm when payments due, excursions etc and saw that our cabin had been allocated. The cabin allocated looks good towards front,near to lifts etc but not so near that you would hear any noise so very pleased. Same cabins now are going for £500 pp more.

Booked through NCL ,rang them direct so I could confirm what was included. Very helpful service.

I booked a sail away cabin from U.K. and got all inclusive, confirmed in writing and verbally. All cruises from U.K. are all inclusive no matter what category of cabin

I agree there is always some unrest or incident somewhere and people calling for itinerary changes at the drop of a hat should just stay at home.i am surprised that we don't have a number of posters calling for New York to be dropped as a port after latest tragic terrorist incident

No itinerary was altered by any cruise line following the major terrorist incident in August in Barcelona so I doubt it will be amended for a peaceful demonstration. Nor has any cruise line or holiday company cancelled trips to major US cities following the latest shooting incidents.

If everyone cancelled trips because of demonstrations we would never travel outside our own towns!!

Premium all inclusive is included for U.K. Cruisers on all cabins including guarantee and sail away. I have booked one and had written confirmation of this.

There are absolutely no problems for tourists in Barcelona other than from the usual pickpockets you get in every city. We will certainly be far safer in Barcelona than in many US cities or other European capitals like Instanbul or Cairo.

Does anyone recently off spirit know if they have any Karaoke onboard as friends of ours are big fans and like singing

There is more risk in most US ports/cities than Barcelona, the catalans are only demonstrating but when you look at mass shootings in US and robberies at gun point you would avoid US first.

For those just back from Spirit, what was entertainment like ? Was there anything on in Henry's pub like singers,karaoke etc and were shows good. We are on in January so maybe inside a bit more than in Summer

On most of cruises they have added it to they have also bumped up the price, certainly one we have paid a deposit on in Jan is c£200 pp extra now with the plus extras, we did get the drinks package.
