Thanks everyone for your responses. My issue was that they say there is fixed dining and once on board there is any time. If you are assigned fixed dining at the time of booking you can't make reservations beforehand which we like to do and have to arrange everything once on board. They should just change Edge class ships to any time at the time of booking

Hi How come they still offer fixed dining on the Edge class ships? In my experience on both the Beyond and the Ascent everyone has anytime dining once they board. I am trying to add a room to our reservation and I can only get fixed dining for the 2nd room while we have anytime dining. Should I be concerned or once we get on the ship it won't matter anyway. And if that's the case then why don't they change the dining up front when you book instead of saying anytime is closed out? Any insights would be appreciated Thanks

Hi. I booked cabin 8291 on the Ascent and was wondering if anyone stayed there if there is a walk through to either starboard or port side. It looks like there is a hallway to either side. Any information will be great. Thanks

Hi. I know that for Elements you need a reservation. Do you still need a reservation for the comedy shows? Are they in the theater now or in the smaller venue. Just wanted to know if when we board if we need to make reservations to see the comedy shows. Thanks

Fine Cut was excellent on the Ascent in January in our opinion. We had the lobster tail and tomahawk. Appetizers and sides were amazing as well. I think we ordered almost every one!

The premium package wine situation on the Ascent was very frustrating on the January 21 sailing. The bars were so inconsistent with what they served as were the restaurants. Sometimes they would have decoy, sometimes not. At the main dining rooms, they were always serving us some obscure wine that we never heard of. We drink cabarnet and are not too picky. At home, we like Josh. The martini bar was the worst with wine. We only got wine there once. The first glass was Elegance and no upcharge. The 2nd glass another bartender told us we couldn't have elegance and poured us something not great. Needless to say we never visited the martini bar for wine after that. Celebrity should get there act together and stick to a wine list at all its venues

I get your point now. If you want to go out on the balcony and read or whatever and your spouse wants to be in air conditioning or sleep then the IV poses a problem. Never thought of that. Thanks for your point of view

Wow. I guess I'm wrong then. I was on the Ascent 2 weeks ago too and I guess I never noticed the frosted glass. Thanks for correcting me. However, still love the IV!
