  1. Looking to book a sort of last minute (3 weeks out) cruise, plan to go either way but prefer a balcony. Have the money now for an ocean view but pending a few things may be able to afford the balcony. Is it possible to book through my PCC then if everything goes through just pay the difference in room prices or are upgrades only bidding? If they are bid only is 3 weeks out too late to get an offer to bid?

    TIA

You are only seeing two seaters because there are only two seaters available. The electric cars for rent in Bermuda are limited by law to the two seat minicars and by law to only two occupants. So even if you were a family of three small people it would not be allowed.

    Thanks!

I was thinking that may be the case but I saw some 4 seaters for sale and got confused. May just consider renting 2 or a scooter and a mini car then.

    Appreciate the help!

  3. Planning to be in Bermuda in April and would absolutely love to rent an electric vehicle to do some sight seeing on our own terms, but we are a family of 3 and all I am seeing is 2 seaters. I am also 6'2'' and a bit chubby if that changes anything. any advice?

    TIA

  4. I've seen a few posts a out the Haven on pearl but still have some questions.

Do both Haven and S class suites get priority embarkation?

Do Haven get a special dinner option since there isn't a Haven restaurant?

Have you felt the courtyard was spacious enough?

Is there any sort of food/drink service at all in the Haven courtyard?

    Thanks in advance

5 year olds must be fully vaccinated.

Effective for sailings March 1, 2022 and beyond.

For all cruises departing and/or returning to US ports:

All guests age five and over, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated, at least 2 weeks prior to departure, in order to board. While we welcome unvaccinated children ages four and under onboard, it is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of any local protocols and/or travel restrictions in place at the visiting destinations at the time of sailing.

Ok that's what I saw too, I was just curious if anyone had any experience with our birthday situation

You never know about the weather. It could be quite warm! I'll tell you, my dad wears short sleeves until November sometimes. I'm in Montreal and you never quite know what the weather will be like in September. Sometimes it's warmer than July! You could still wear those things, you just never know. Better to pack with a sweater and sneakers and not need them 😃

we were in Montreal(quite possibly my favorite vacation spot) last September and I sweat so much walking around, had to be high 80s, and 2 years before drove though a snowstorm on the way up around the same time!

I would totally sit on a sundeck with cocktail in hand and be quite happy up that way, granted I like the colder weather

  7. When I check the site for an email I get a form to fill out. I would prefer to send an email directly so I have it in my outbox as well and can CC people on it if possible.

Does anyone know what the email address for guest/customer service is?

    Thanks in advance!

  8. DIY? Wifes birthday is during our next cruise. She would absolutely love the surprise room decorating.

Has anyone here paid for it? If so how were the decorations and timing?

I would rather spend the extra and have it work very well but if ncl doesnt do a great job I'll do it on my own.

    TIA for any input 🙂

" check in " begins at noon with " boarding" at 2:00 is a realistic timeframe.

Boarding and check in at noon doesn't even make sense, considering  check in always comes first.

I agree, TA called again and was now told check in at noon boarding begins around 1.

I see a park with a playground next to the pier, maybe I will just go early and worst case take my daughter to the playground until check in hah.

Last year I sailed on the Escape out of Manhattan. It was arriving empty from Florida. The evening before the cruise, NCL sent out texts and calls telling passengers not to arrive before noon.

The ship had to wait for the tide to go out to be able to pass under the Verizzano bridge. Being empty, it was riding higher and that affected the clearance.

    Interesting!

Tides are low at 6:40am high 12:45 and low again at 6:30pm so let's home they are not going to wait for 6:30pm lol
