Thank you again, all of this has been extremely helpful!

Thank you euro cruiser, this information is very helpful!

I have been looking at the train schedule for this May. We need to go from Rome to Assisi and it shows the times but says that it cannot be booked due possible timetable updates because of line maintenance. Is this fairly common and anyone have any idea when when they will make the tickets available.

We enjoyed Raw on 5 for lunch on the Edge, actually went a couple of times. You can make a lunch reservation once you board.

Okay, okay, okay……NOW we have some tension in the hopeful household… “DH”……says the topic of desert cocktails being called “martini” speaks to the degradation of our society. He says if it doesn’t make sense to put an olive in it, then it shouldn’t be called a martini! Thems fighting words! He says it must be a clear beverage with gin or vodka and vermouth (and the adornment of an olive) to earn the right to be called a martini! I asked him that if that is the case, how will I order my creamy, flavorful after dinner cocktail at the martini bar (because he doesn’t believe they will serve anything but a “proper” martini there)…I said, “WHAT?” (Those were my exact words) and now…we may have to cancel our cruise (tic). So the question is, can I get a chocolate martini at the martini bar.
The answer is most definitely YES! They will even write your name in chocolate on the top. Delicious!

We went to Hato Caves last week on our Equinox trip. It was very hot in the caves, so I would recommend grabbing a bottle of water before leaving the ship and dressing comfortably. I was surprised we weren’t required to wear closed toe shoes but at the very least I would wear sandals with a strap and not flip flops.
We had a fabulous time on the Equinox doing the same itinerary as you will be doing. Also, sailed in a balcony cabin after only sailing in the Retreat on E class ships post Covid. Murano was a treat with amazing food and service. Tuscan for the elite breakfast was a nice quiet alternative to the buffet, someplace we never went when we had access to Luminae.

So happy to read these positive reviews. We will be on Equinox in January with friends who haven’t been on a cruise in 20 years and never on Celebrity.

Thank you! 45% off premium drink package for January cruise.

Haven’t been on Eclipse in awhile but when we were they did have rowing machines. My DD is a rower and she used them everyday. Hope this helps.

Bring your vaccination card with you in San Juan. Last week, we needed to show it to enter a restaurant.

Can you/ do you need to make reservations in Luminae? We will be in a suite for the first time on our upcoming Edge cruise.

On the NA last month, all the speciality restaurants were 25% off the first night as well. An announcement was made shortly before sail away.
-
We were just on the NA and while I cannot comment on Rudi’s, I can tell you that PG, Tamarind and Canaletto were all excellent. The food and service were so far superior to the main dining room that we dined 6 of the 10 nights in the speciality venues. If you are able to consider giving all 3 a try, don’t think you will be disappointed.

Looking forward to hearing the rest.😊. We will be sailing on the NA in January.

We haven't been on HAL in over 4 years and have never been on the NA. Looking at booking V6051, from the deck plans it seems to be in a good location with cabins above and below it. Anyone ever stayed in this cabin or anything in particular we should know about this cabin?
Thank you in advance for any help.

You can't get a table for two?
On the Summit last month, we asked to be seated by ourselves and it was not a problem. We were 3 but I would think they would honor the request for two as well. When we ordered our main course they also asked for our dessert order.
It was a nice relaxing lunch.

On Summt last week we were given cans of Coke. We had the classic package and dd had non alcoholic package.

Hi!! This one is kinda a sticky question and I will try to answer each part.
We decided before the cruise that we wanted select dining. We are more night owls than morning people so the latest seating works out best for us. During our arrival, we had lunch in the MDR and there we asked for dinner reservations for 830. We got our reservations but we're told we needed to make them daily.
When we arrived at dinner, people who did not have reservations were being turned away.
We called our concierge and requested a standing 9:00 dinner reservation at the table we sat in during the first night. She said it would be no problem.
On Tuesday at dinner we told our servers that we will be unable to make the 9:00 reservations due to the tour and could we come around five. We reached out to the host and concierge and were given 5:30.
TBH, I think your best bet would be to go to lunch at the MDR and see if you can make reservations there for dinner. We ended up switching from traditional to select that first day.
Good luck!!!!!

You are the second person to say that people without dinner reservations are being turned away. I am confused, I thought if you have select dining you do not have to have a reservation? I understand you may have to wait for a table but don't understand being turned away. We will be in the Summit at the end of the month and have select dining.

Love reading your report! Enjoy Bar Harbor tomorrow, it is absolutely beautiful.

We did a 12 night British Isles cruise last summer with our 17 year old daughter. We were on Princess. There were plenty of kids her age that she met and spent time with in the evenings. It is a very port intensive trip so most days everyone is off the ship touring. It was an amazing trip, she had a great time. I would highly recommend it.

Stan,
Thank you for the photos. Doesn't look like that big a deal.

We are considering booking a concierge guarantee on the Summit. I cannot tell tell from the deck plans if any of the CC have obstructed views . Thank you in advance for any info.

I tried Rent the Runway for the first time last month and absolutely loved the service and the dress. Can't wait to order something from them again. I would definitely recommend it. Dh and I still like getting dressed up for formal night, I am going to check out the unlimited subscription.

Cannot wait to hear about Rafa's training center! 👏👏. He's had some tough final loses to Roger since you've been on this trip.
