That’s interesting!
We did our one and only Oceania cruise that was Montreal to Southhampton. It was 16 days. Port stops were Trois Rivières, Quebec City, Saguenay, Cornerbrook Newfoundland, Sydney, St Pierre, St John’s Newfoundland, Belfast, Dublin, Holyhead Wales (missed due to weather), St Peters Port, Guernsey (missed due to weather), and Southampton.I wish Azamara would try some itineraries like this. Oceania has quite a few interesting itineraries, but our experience was nothing like an Azamara experience and I would prefer to spend our funds on Azamara!!
I would like this one too. Quebec City is awesome.

Sorry for your difficulties. I think if the cruise company hadn't refunded your money, you could have gone through the credit card company. I think you can refute any charge on your credit card within 24 hours. Glad they treated you well.

We have used the shareholder OBC for years and it was often given as well as other OBC's from the cruiseline. I hope that hasn't changed. I don't think it should have anything to do with what you get from your TA.

I won't miss them either, as we only went to one in the beginning and never went again. I am more than capable of spending money in the ports without any tips!

Jeanne, I am so sorry to hear this. Don contributed a lot to Cruise Critic in his 22 years on the forum. I always enjoyed his posts. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

Thank you for this info. We will try this in Dublin, Ireland.

I feel masks should have been mandatory from the get go. They wouldn't be in such trouble now if they had been. We spent a lot of time in our cabin on the Apr 23 cruise and we never went to the theatre at all. We are happy to be home.

We have just been on Eclipse and we were in AQ class. To start with, your assigned dining room will be Blu for breakfast and dinner. We like the smaller size of the room. You will have access to Persian Gardens. You will receive 5 points/day.

We arrived home from Honolulu last night and didn't have to wait for a kiosk even though 9 planes had just arrived. Our only problem was getting the thing to work. We had to try three before we got one working properly. When we got to the customs officer, it was the easiest interrogation ever. I guess when you have the ArriveCan on your phone, it shows up everything else at the officer's booth. We were not asked any of the usual questions, how long have you been away, what is the value of items purchased, etc. It was a piece of cake and the custom's guy joked with us for the short while we were with him. Such a pleasant change.

I am so confused. The Gov of Canada site says all cruisers need to get a number from the app before boarding. Because we are Canadian and already here we dont know how we can possibly do this pre boarding. Does anyone have any first hand info on this from when they left Vancouver? Thanks
We sailed from Vancouver to Hawaii on Apr 23. We did not have to do ArriveCan since we are Canadian and already here. However, when we return in a few days, we will have to do it. Hope this helps.

Just off Eclipse and never went ner Persian Gardens. DH agrees with you OP. He went once long ago and you couldn't get him back there.

We have a picture of Summit docked in Nawilliwilli Bay, Kauai. Yes, years ago. Norwegian took over the place with several ships docking in Kauai, but it didn't work out. Pride of America still comes every week. Other ships are returning, bur sadly not Celebrity.

I'm sorry to see all the negative posts about LCG. i agree woth those who say to not overdo the pizza. That's what we did the first time we dined there and I nearly had to be carried out by the time I finished that hot cookie.
We love LCG and have already booked it for our next cruise on Silhouette. i hope it is still as good as we remember. And yes, we have been to Murano three times on three different ships and came away every time unimpressed.

I usually vote for longer cruises and if you choose the second option, don't forget to ask for the B2B discount. You will get $100 for the first leg and $50 for the second.
However, this is a special cruise for you both, so I think I would go with the suite and enjoy the balcony.
Congratulations to you both!

We just purchased our annual BCAA health insurance this week. You used to be able to get $300 deductible. It is now $500. Preexisting conditions are covered if they have been stable for 6 months. We were both asked, along with all the usual questions,
if we had any health problems in the last 6 months
if we were waiting for test results
if we had a stay in the hospital in the last 6 months
And if we had started on any new meds.
I hope you can still get insurance for your cruise. I also hope your husband gets the help he needs.

We sailed in 1140 on Summit. love that cabin with the huge balcony.

I presume you are talking about AQ 2 class. AQ 1 are on deck 11. The 5 aft cabins are our favourite ones but they go fast. These are quiet.

Crazy, Celebrity has a ship departing in 11 days and they still have no Protocols listed for Canadian departures. Unfortunately our roll call has more posts about testing than fun stuff.
We are on this cruise also and have made an appt in Richmond to get tested on the 22nd. The appt was made before we learned you can now get it done 2 days prior. I guess Celebrity must be very busy getting things lined up, since this is the first sailing of Eclipse since Mach 2020.

Our packing cubes are made of very light fabric. I use the largest for rolled pants, skirts. The middle size for rolled tops and the small one for underwear. We use different colours for his and hers. I wouldn't be without them. And, as others have said, they go straight into the drawers upon arrival,

Thank you so much everyone for the positive comments about Azamara. We can't wait for July 25.

We cruise in AQ a lot and will be there again in 2 weeks. We really like Blu. As for Murano, we have dined there 3 times on three different ships and came away thinking it was not spectacular as many others say. We hope you enjoy your meals in Blu and your cruise. We often go to at Aqua Spa cafe for lunch. The name is a little confusing as this little restaurant is not just for AQ class. It is for everyone.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. Why buffet when you can go to the dining room and be served plus have a wonderful chat with other cruisers.
Well we met one woman at the buffet once who said she ate at the buffet every night because she didn't want to tip!!! We were shocked.

I cannot wait to get my credit from the Spain presentation. Has anyone else lost sleep worrying if they will get credit?😇
Is that why I can't sleep? And here I've cut out coffee...................

Especially the Brits.
I agree. The Brits know how to dress for dinner. Is it really such a big deal to put on something respectable for dinner?

Urgent medical situation 1 week prior to sailing
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I hope you get this resolved so you can go on your cruise.
DH has lots of experience with kidney stones having had 20+. The last one was 5mm and he treated it himself with liquid THC which is legal here. Two days later he passed the stone. I don't know if you have access where you are. Drinking lots of water is good advice but beer is better as it relaxes the tubes maybe making it possible to pass the stone. Would it be possible to go to Emerg and get a shot of Demerol?
