The meter is an indicator of NCL's evaluation of your bid independent of any other factor, and thus a piece of the bidding puzzle. I did indeed ask how many H5 Courtyard Penthouse staterooms were available when MTB25 bid. Unless you work for NCL "how many other people were bidding...or cancelling" is unknowable.

What did the meter indicate for your $550 bid and what was the minimum & maximum bid window? It seems you did well. Also, do you know how many H5 Courtyard Penthouse staterooms were available when you bid?

From the menus posted on-line, standard (non-flavored) Grey Goose is a premium vodka at $9.50 for 1.5 oz. which should make it OK under UBP. You may want to confirm with your own search. I had Bombay Sapphire and Tanqueray gin martinis on the Epic and they were included.

Let me try this again garycarla: the point of my post was to answer a specific portion (quoted) of fdpevey's post about losing "your current perks" if you bid and won an upgrade. Both I and my CC know "my current perks" whatever they may be and for each he confirmed they would carry over. So while you are correct that a "spa" perk might not carry over (I knew that), the primary point I was trying to convey was 1) some or all of "your current perks" could be preserved and 2) it is important to ask and confirm before bidding. Hope that clarifies.

Is it correct if you bid and change to a Haven cabin/suite you lose your current perks and don't receive the perks that typically come with a Haven cabin (which is everything that is offered), or any for that matter.
I specifically asked my NCL CC about a week ago whether I would lose my current perks if I won an upgrade. He said no - all would carry over.

The Ecstasy may be old by cruise standards, but we sailed her at New Years and had a wonderful time with great food, shows and cabin. Let's treat the old girl with the respect she deserves!

We could not reach our TA on the weekend prior to our final payment due date so I called NCL and they were happy to accept our payment.
