what I'm questioning is the vaccination requirement for children 12 and under.
Yes, currently under 12 can sail unvaccinated. That is subject to change at any time.

This is the one offered with the promotion. No streaming.
INTERNET ACCESS FOR 2 DEVICES. FEATURES: BROWSE THE WEB; SEND AND RECEIVE EMAILS AND IMAGES; CHAT ON MESSENGER APPS (E.G. WHATSAPP). NO VIDEO. DURATION: ENTIRE CRUISE. DATA LIMIT: UNLIMITED.When you first log in onboard, it gives you the option to upgrade to the "Browse & Stream" which is what she would need. Don't know the cost.

I wonder if this will be a YC experience throughout the ship.
Yes. That is what they hope to achieve.

Just in case you haven't seen this paragraph (though you probably have):
Tests must be taken with an accredited test provider, such as a drugstore chain, diagnostic lab, or accredited at-home telehealth provider. Guests will be required to show their negative test results upon arriving at the pier. The results can be printed out or can be presented on your phone, such as the email result from your test provider. Test results will need to clearly show the type of test (Antigen, RT-PCR, or NAAT), testing location/provider’s name, a negative result, the guest’s name, and the date and time the test was taken.I guess the question is are they accredited and can whatever test result they send you to print out contain all the required elements. I don't have a definite answer either.
Oh and part of the above recently changed. Results on the phone are no longer accepted. It must be printed out.

Yes, they do have tempura and teriyaki in the Galaxy restaurant. And $75 per person is a bargain for what you get and compared to onboard prices. I would definitely go for it.

Yes to the coffee on the buffet. And no, once you log in with a device, that is your one device. It is not an "at a time" plan.

I would definitely use this link instead of the app and click the Enter Booking Number tab. The app is glitchy.

Reminder that the security photo and credit card info is not a requirement to complete check in.

Yes, that change is correct. Effective with cruises from this past weekend, vaccinated guests only have to be 12 years of age or older. One other change that may be overlooked is that test results now have to be printed. No longer accepting those results electronicaly. I'm sure they are currently making exceptions but as time goes on...
Hope this helps.

Per their FAQ's:
For non-US residents, purchase of travel insurance with coverage for COVID-19 is required through the country of residence of each guest. You must present documentation at the pier with sufficient coverage purchased that has a minimum of (a) $25,000 per person in medical expense coverage and (b) $50,000 coverage for emergency medical evacuation, both with no COVID-19 exclusions. The insurance policy must name the guest as the policyholder or beneficiary. Guests must bring a printed version of the insurance policy, showing the name of each of the covered guest(s) and a description of the coverage in the policy. This documentation will be reviewed by our staff at the terminal prior to boarding.Without it, guests will be denied boarding.

It should read free cruise change not charge:
The free cruise change is applicable either on the cruise dates or on the destination. Such change needs to be performed up to 1 month before departure, for a new cruise to sail within 3 months from the original departure. Any cruise change shall be requested through our contact centers.

This is what is required:
Guests that purchase insurance other than the one offered by MSC Cruises must provide proof of their valid travel insurance policy that has a minimum of (a) $25,000 per person in medical expense coverage and (b) $50,000 coverage for emergency medical evacuation, both with no COVID-19 exclusions. The insurance policy must name the guest as the policyholder or beneficiary. Guests must bring a printed version of the insurance policy, showing the name of each of the covered guest(s) and a description of the coverage in the policy. This documentation will be reviewed by our staff at the terminal prior to boarding. Without it, guests will be denied boarding.
No trip cancellation/interruption required but you have to make sure it spells out all the above in what you bring.Bret

Also, if anyone can help, we have 3 rooms, but when I sign in to my account I only see the one for my husband and myself. Do I need to create accounts for my son and daughters so they can complete the check in separately? It would be easier if they were all linked.
No need to log in. Click this link and then click the tab that says Enter Booking Number.

The cruise lines have their own port agreements with the individual governments which was part of the requirement for cruising restart in the States. Rules for cruise ships are different than the general entry requirements. For example, this recent article on Grand Cayman points out that the only requirements will be that COVID positive guests and their close contacts will not be allowed to disembark as well as mask wearing indoors while on the island. Also, the entry forms you mentioned are not required for cruise travelers. And yes, I personally have been to Mexico on a ship within the last six months.

Will be interesting to see how that class of ship does in Florida beginning May 26, 2023 doing 3 and 4 night sailings. I wasn't convinced they would bring a non-Yacht Club ship here but I guess it's happening.

Proof of Recovery is not accepted by MSC. And per their website: Guests who have unvaccinated children in their traveling party, will need to go ashore with an MSC Excursion (excluding Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, our exclusive private island) to discover in a protected excursion. However, this might possibly change starting on the 23rd when everyone age 5 and over must be vaccinated.

Hello Bret, do you know how many are booked for Meraviglia for 3/20?
Unfortunately, no. I only inquired with my contact for 3/17 since I am on that sailing. I hate to ask my folks for another favor. They have to go to some other folks and have a report run. 🤔
