  1. When I do a cruise I like to film going in and out of port and under bridges. I do this in time-lapse as it is quicker to watch but also shows movement and patterns in different ways. To share this with others I am posting a playlist here but will try and follow it up with each one individually to help people find a specific port. At the moment there are 41 but I aim to add more as they happen.
  2. so 6 years ago you had 1 meal that was dry...
  3. Life has been hectic (and not in a good way) lately so my apologies for the late response to this. I just wanted to say that I am thrilled that someone thought this worthy of a share. I love filming the sailing in and out of ports - especially with a dram or two - even when it can require being on a balcony in Pajamas for 3 hours with a strong need for the washroom (Stockholm) as I freeze. I tend to put together a film of the cruise but then also split it up into separate ones for each port. One of the things I love about it is how time-lapse reveals a pattern of movements that we do not normally see - such as the side wobble of big ships as they dock (Corfu). here is a playlist of the shorts -
  4. Thanks for that - it has been a pleasure - hope people find it some use

  9. So, shortly after I last wrote the GP stopped recording - always worth playing around. Yes the reflection was a problem and it did not do too great with the dark. Part of the problem was the red light in the front. I will try again in a few days but at 30 min instead of 1 hour and maybe with a mask that covers the red light and shields the glass.
