How about a dispenser similar to the soft serve machines?

I generally find a bartender I like in each location of the ship that we frequent and give them an extra $1 per drink. Even if they are busy a lot of times they will ask me if I want the usual while walking up to a packed bar and have it made before they move on to others.

For Cozumel we really enjoyed Nachi Cocum if you want a relaxing beach day. Mr. Sanchos is another more lively place to go. They are right beside each other and you can just walk out of port and get a taxi easily.

On the Oasis in February, there was a flyer in our cabin that stated we had reservations for UDP the first night at the Izumi Hibachi. We changed it to Izumi Sushi instead for a $35 pp credit instead.
-
We just got back from an Oasis cruise with UDP and were turned away from Chops for embarkation lunch due to being reserved for Key cruisers only. After that we were able to eat at Giovanni's table instead for the embarkation lunch. We will probably buy the UDP again for our August Alaskan cruise on the Ovation.

We have 7686 and 7688 obstructed balcony on the Ovation scheduled for August also. I hope someone can answer the question and maybe have some photos of the view. I am guessing it is obstructed looking down but not out but you never know.

When do they send out the sorry you didn't get the upgrade emails? I am waiting to hear on a bid for our 2/3 Oasis cruise and we haven't heard anything though it appears the category we bid on is sold out.
Thanks,

I have a comp cruise thru UrComped in 2 weeks. I’ll start off at craps and see how many points I get with 1 hour of play. If I feel like I’m getting screwed I’ll just pocket the rest of the money I had budgeted for gambling and enjoy my cruise & free drinks on them. If they want to screw us on comps then I just won’t gamble. We can’t go to another casino, but they can’t just wait until other gamblers come in either...not until the following week.
I also have my first UrComped Royal Caribbean trip planned in February and I usually play craps but from the sounds of it, it seems that it will be difficult to play enough to get the points required for future cruises.

Rumors on the ship from staff that next weeks ports will be modified as well but they won't say what/when. I will update if I get more info.

T-Pool was working fine on the 16th-23rd sailing. It was the first time we had booked a Spa cabin and we enjoyed using it.
We are currently on the Magic 6/23 sailing on a deck 11 spa balcony. The AC is working as well as it has on the other ships we have been on. The "hot" tubs are woking and so is the T pool and saunas. The internet is complete crap even on the most expensive plan and I am going to ask for a refund. Hope this calms some fears.

I see the Magic is anchored off Amber Cove this morning. Does anyone know how/if repairs are coming along?
It seems that the Magic hasn't updated it's position on the tracking websites I have looked at. I am not sure why.
-
I would guess they won't be adding back the St. Thomas port even if they get it fixed for the 6/23 sailing. They have already sent out an email, change itinerary and added an OBC to peoples accounts.
-
If the excursions are booked through Carnival, they will just change the dates on the excursions to the correct days you are in port. That is probably after they verify with the excursion operator that they have openings.
-
There are some others but I think it is against CC Terms of Service to link them from here. Just do some searches on Google for cruise price watch or variations and poke around. I managed to snag a few price drops for my next cruise after being notified of a change in price.
-
My wife just booked her spa appointments based on the itinerary yesterday and now she can't update spa appointments if under 3 days to cruising. I guess I know our first stop once on board.
-
$50 OBC PP is what was offered to us.
-
We are on the June 23rd sailing so following along closely. We don't have much planned in St. Thomas so if they cancel that port it wouldn't be to big of a deal to us.

Well it looks like our Magic 6/23 is on the list. I was hoping to spend some time in the casino but now it looks like I may just avoid it if it is going to be as crowded as people say.

What kind of shot is mixed with milkshakes?
Here is the Shake Spot menu for milkshakes. I think I tried all of them over the course of 8 days. Thanks Schazzy for the info on adding to anything.
-
We cruised 2 years ago on the Sunshine and I enjoyed the various spiked milkshakes. We are now going on the Magic next months and I was wondering if it is possible to get spiked milkshakes on ships that only have a coffee bar? I guess with Cheers I could just get a shot separately and mix into the milkshakes.
Thanks

I just signed up for URComped also to see that I am offered a MSC ocean view but balcony on the rest of the offers. If you get more details please let us know about booking farther into the future. We have a couple cruises already booked for this summer/fall so need something for next year.
Thanks,

I just wish the Pride would have different 7 day itineraries that doesn't include Freeport and Nassau. The journey sailings are nice but hard for us to be away for 14 days. Also as mentioned before the price is always on the high end it seems.
-
Me too....a question: we are in the casino almost every night. Granted, we are no where near "high rollers" but we do spend some $ there. But we use DH's S&S card.If I am looking for a "casino offer" should I use his VIPF# instead of mine?
I check all of our VIFP numbers when comparing pricing. It seems they all have different offers at different times.

I think you're exactly right. The Pride almost never goes on sale; and they've modified the sailing schedule enough to reduce the undesirable cruises - eg, sailing out of B'More in February and freezing for the first two days.
I think they realize that that as you're not paying airfare (assuming you live within driving or AMTRAK distance - it's a $15 cab ride from B'More Penn Station) they can build that into the cruise price.
It isn't to bad of a drive for use to Baltimore but I have been watching the March 11th sailing for a last minute deal on an interior but price keeps going up. There seems to be several cabins still available though so we shall see.
Thalassotherphy pool, yes or no.

We recently went on the Magic in a spa cabin and the Thalassotherapy pool was one of my favorite features of the ship. I have constant back pain and it helped significantly. Especially since you can't bring heating pads on board.
