  1. I know I'm a big cry baby, but I've got tears in my eyes that you all have graciously taken your time to assist us. It has been a rough month with hospitals, doctors, tests. Thank you so much. This is great info. Hugs.
  2. We are hoping to travel for a few weeks after docking in Rotterdam, even though my husband recently suffered a fall. We had planned on taking the train from Rotterdam to Bruges and then a few days later the train to Amsterdam. Hubby now permanently cannot lift anything over 8 lbs and may be using a walker, hence how will we get our luggage onto the train. I don't think I can do it by myself without holding up lines of passengers. (This trip has been in the making for a couple years and we really don’t want to cancel.) Any suggestions for still using the train? Or does anyone have the name/phone of a shuttle/taxi service they recommend? In our area, we use shared shuttles to defray the cost but I don’t see anything like that online. Thx for your input. Marilyn
  3. Thx for your input. He has been a while since we've done a B2B and I wanted to feel comfortable about going to the Gardens.
  4. From what you are saying, it sounds like I am safe to pay for a nonrefundable quick trip to the tulip gardens on turnaround day. Thank you for that info and thank you to everyone for your input. Marilyn
  5. We will be on a B2B cruise in a few months and we would like to disembark (7:00 – 7:30) early on the day between the 2 cruises so that we can go on a private tour in Amsterdam. Is that possible on a Celebrity cruise? Will I need to do something special in order to get off the ship early? We will be staying in the same room for the second cruise. Marilyn
  6. Can you tell me how the luggage is handled on the train. Can you keep it beside you? Is it stored? In Ireland we dropped all luggage at the front of the train car. Thx u.
  7. We will dock in Rotterdam next May and hope to take the train to Brugges. While on the train, how do you handle your luggage? Do you keep it beside you? Store it on the train? We are also in our 70's and I'm just a little overwhelmed with train transfers, luggage, schedule, etc. After staying in Brugges for a few days, we will take the train to Amsterdam. Thx for your help.
