Smoking is not permitted in any cabin or on any balcony.

You can search for video tours or photos on line to catch a glimpse of these areas.

Thanks, the ship was just changed to Solstice and it looks like similar areas for smoking.

Solstice - Smoking is allowed on deck 5 by the theater entrance and at the rear of deck 5. Also port side on deck 12 (pool area). Deck 14 port side of Sunset Bar.

Just wondering if the smoking areas are the same and if someone can confirm from a recent cruise.

5 Mid-ship deck 5 Port.    
10 Port in the pool area near the Buffet
11 Port side of Mast Bar.  

This will be my first time on Celebrity in Oct and I like that they are outside as long as the weather is good.  At least deck 5 is covered in case of rain.  I hope there is a place to sit in all these areas as well. Thanks for any info! 😄

I am wondering if the smoking areas are the same on Millennium as before that pandemic.  Below is the information I found but not sure if things have changed, please reply if you know.  Thanks

Smoking is generally mid-ship deck 5 Port. Also a designated area port in the pool area near the Buffet and Port side of Mast Bar. Some times deck 5 is shifted to starboard when fueling and when winds heavy on port side.

I was just trying to find where the smoking areas were so I can plan.  The best rooms for a smoker might be deck 12 forward for easy use of the staircase.

Thanks for the pictures of the smoking area.  I like that it is covered and plenty of seats. It is a bummer there is no area on Deck 5 like the other ships.  Non-smokers have so many places to go and we have 2 areas on the same deck.  10% of passengers are usually smokers enjoying a vacation and that is only 2% of the ship. A lot of walking is hard with a bad hip.

Smokers don't want to bother non-smokers, we just need a decent place to do our thing.  This thread is for smokers only.

There are 2 smoking areas on 15.  The mid ship one is where is says Outdoor Deck.

Looks like you must climb a staircase to smoke because deck 15 is above the Pool Bar.  Do you know if that is the case?

You are correct on the smoking area and to get a cabin by the aft elevators.  Deck 14 by the stairs would be a fast way to get there.  When you first get on the ship it will not be open for a few hours while fueling, so the casino is the only place to go.

MSC Armonia Smoking areas

Deck 5 forward starboard has an indoor smoking room. 

Deck 6 Casino is very small 

Deck 6 outer deck starboard aft sucks because there is no seating. MSC should put chairs out on both sides so we can enjoy the shade and views. They say for safety they can’t have chairs but all other cruise lines put chairs on that deck. The smoking poles start to smoke so ashtrays are better. It is hard to stand around after a long day out. 

Deck 11 midship port side gets crowded and hot by pool. 

Deck 12 aft outside back of disco. Standing only unless you bring a club chair out. Some shade. 

Deck 13 You can rent a chair or cabana for a day unless it is included in your experience level.  No elevator to deck 13.

Thanks for pictures.  I like the roof and walls to keep the bad weather out but you can open the doors for a breeze, but you are right about no seating and very small. We are on vacation, so can they do better and give us some nice chairs.  Geez

Let's start a list of the smoking areas on MSC ships.  We were on Musica in Venice and we are going on Armonia soon and found the following information online, so I hope it is right.  We want to cruise on Poesia but we can't find any information.  It would sure be nice if the cruise lines posted the information so we know where to go, so often the staff has no idea where the smoking areas are located.

They really should create an indoor cigarette smoking room on every ship since there are more of us.  When the weather is bad we also want to be comfortable and it keeps us out of the way.  I got a cabin by Tradewinds, so hopefully it isn't too windy and cold all the time.

Just wondering if anyone who smokes was recently on Vision of the Seas to confirm where the smoking areas are located.  I read one side on the outside of decks 5, 9, and 10.  When the weather is bad, I wish they had an indoor smoking room instead of the Casino.  Thanks for any tips.
