After unpacking and a shower, I ended up crashing hard last night, and slept pretty good... The dreams were coming left and right, and now I'm firmly back to reality, and on solid ground. Turns out that when I left here exactly a week ago today, I left some dishes in the sink, so that's where I'll get started.

 

I also filled the washer with most of my dirty laundry from the trip, and soon it'll be but a memory. 

 

I put my Virgin Voyages Band in the box with my three prior ones, and now I have the whole set. Now, to begin planning my next adventure... No idea when, or what ship that might be, but it's safe to say I have a ton of stuff to figure out here in the meantime... 

 

Thanks to all of you great readers who followed the entire journey straight from the beginning, and as soon as I can get back through the entire thing, I'll be thanking every single one of you personally by username... 

 

Now, to try and begin putting the pieces together for the next chapter in my life.........

I almost had to make a small scene with the diners to my left... The guy wanted to order something from the brunch menu, but they don't have it for dinner. He kept insisting that that's what he wanted, and if they have it for brunch then they should have it now. The waiter said that they only have it for brunch but the guy wouldn't let up... 

 

He finally brought up the menu on his phone and said "look, it says all day menu"... The waiter held his ground and said "I'm sorry, but we just don't have that now"... I was this close to just yelling at the guy, "can you please just order something else so the waiter can take my order!"... Finally, he said he'd have to think about it some more since they don't have what he wants... I don't know what's so hard to understand... They DON'T HAVE THAT NOW!!!

 

Anyhoo, my order is in... The mushroom tartare, the butter chicken (which is an off menu special) and some kind of cheese tater tots... We'll see how it goes... Worst case scenario, go to the pizza place, but I'm not too hard to please when it comes to food... The question is, will those salt and pepper shakers still be there when I leave?

 

 

 

 

Let Mr. I'm having brunch for dinner leave first then steal his....let him pay for them!

This has been an amazing Live Sid. Thanks for the laughs! This report is 55 pages and growing. Your Celebration was 88. I think you found the balance of Live time, and vacation time. Of course what you found under the covers seemed to have helped a bit too....

The cabin I chose for this cruise is an inside (4E) on deck 10… This puts me right in between the action of the upper and lower decks. It’s one of the “sideways” cabins, which I’ve never tried out before, so I thought I’d check it out.
