  1. Kids personalities vary greatly just like adults. Some can be dropped off and integrate well. Others do better making those friendships at the beginning. You know your kid best and can choose if the first night is a must or if you will be more the casual drop off kind. [emoji6]

  2. Today started out with a delicious breakfast in the centre of Barcelona. We walked near Gaudi’s beautiful creations too.

We then took the train to the nearby town of Sitges to meet Rob’s sister and her family. It was a beautiful sunny day and was thoroughly enjoyable to walk down the beach.

We are too excited for tomorrow discussing what our first drink on board is going to be! I am thinking a margarita. Anyone have any recommendations? Also, here is a photograph of the two of us if anyone is on board and spots us. Come and say hi :)

  3. If a vegetarian is happy to eat a chicken or beef derivative then they are not vegetarians.

People define vegetarian in a few different ways. Even though there might be a “true” definition some will do things slightly differently. Anyway who cares what “vegetarian” is or not. She just wants some info and extras like the stock rod but is good info to know!

  4. Sorry forgot the whole reason I posted lol.

Check google maps for traffic. You can pick your time or day and even date and they give a historical estimate of traffic (usually on a time frame like 50 min - 70 min for example). I use this for my travels back to Jersey for the holidays a lot to try and avoid certain roads and certain times. It’s almost always accurate with the exception of an unforeseen accident which could happen to anyone on any journey.

    Have a blast!!!

  5. Originally from NJ, have lived in Northern Virginia for a decade and travel to Bmore via I-95 many different times, days of the week and times of year. Everyone on here is 100% right down to the hint of when to exit and construction. Since you’re coming from PA it will be a breeze. :)

  6. It's free with the room we booked. My husband eats meat so I'm not going to take the experience away from him just cause of my preferences:)

Sorry no one has your answer but kudos for being so nice with all the opinions on how you should spend YOUR money. [emoji3]

  7. I haven’t done it yet myself but I’ve done a lot of research to see if the excursion is worth it and EVERYONE says it’s so easy to get the taxi and beach rentals to do it yourself. Only benefit is if you’re worried about not making the ship as excursions through the cruise line guarantee you don’t miss the boat.

We are going in Nov with our 3 year old on our first cruise and have decided to self-serve. We are going to go early in they day as we know we will only last a few hours with him so we won’t miss the boat. This will allow us to leave when we want as well in case something just doesn’t work out. Also the excursion didn’t start till 12:30 when we docked at 8. We rather go earlier in the day so we can enjoy the benefits of being on the ship on a port day.

    Hope this helps!
