I googled day passes for hotels in Ft.Lauderdale and a few came up. Maybe I will call and verify. Trying to fill in 8/9 hours.

Hi all,
We get back into Miami early on Jan 20th and our flight from FLL is not until 4:30. I was thinking about buying a day pass to this hotel so we can relax until our flight home. Has anyone done this or any other suggestions for the day.
Thank you,
Sandi

Thank you for this information. We just switched our flights to fly home on Saturday out of FLL. I have been looking at the transportation options. I also would love the boozy lunch! :)

I work at a wedding venue basically at the base of the Bay Bridge on the Eastern shore. I can pretty much assure you as I saw your ship go while I was bartending the wedding I said....."ugh, lucky peeps.......I would very much like to be enjoying a cocktail on that ship." I love seeing the Pride go by on the weekends. I hope you had a great time. Love the pictures. :)

Crap, just re-read the form. I was on my phone doing the form.
Thank you,

HI all,
I put in for a price adjustment this morning and it was approved. Dropped by like $90. But, now it says in our cruise manager that our deposit is $300.....I booked the cruise a couple months ago. I will call after school today, but didn't know if anyone had any advice. I know in the past when we did price adjustment they either took that amount off balance or gave OBC.
Just curious.......hopefully this makes sense.

It must have also left late too. I work at a wedding venue right off the Bay Bridge.....it did't pass under the bridge until about 8:00 last night. Stinks that your trip was re-routed......tho I do love the bay......but a warm island sounds much nicer. Have a good trip. :)

:)I just reserved it for my husband and I. We will be there January 18th. Such a great deal. Glad to hear you loved it.

Hi all,
If you have gone here could you tell me about it please. Looking to buy the all inclusive pass for January. Seems like a good deal at $55......we have only been to Paradise Beach.
Thank you

I am assuming that you have to call to have them confirm the pricing?

Still debating. But, it is a good deal since it includes pretty much everything you may order. (I am not one to order a drink for $50).....but seeing that it includes special coffees that get pricey, and I love fancy coffees. Ours is an eight day cruise with four ports. My husband and I initially thought the $1000 price tag was hefty. I am really going to research this now and try to decide if it is worth it for us. I for sure would enjoy a mimosa or two in the mornings......and visit all the cool bars after port.
Take care

10% off. $100 cards cost $90 and $500 cards are $450.
Thank you for the clarification. :) I may need to get my husband to join AARP.

Ok, I am confused. Do you buy these at a discount? Sorry, tried reading thru all of the posts.

Do you have to be a verizon account holder to buy them?

The comment I replied to stated that "So long as I am not cooking or doing the dishes the food is always good". This is nonsense and has nothing to do with you being a plain eater or a fancy eater. If this is the standard of food then quality is not a consideration at all, only convenience.
We used to have a vending machine at work that would dispense fruit, hamburgers, sandwiches or salads. It was cheap and there was nothing to clean up. We called it the wheel of death and eventually it was removed because it was disgusting. Now we have a cafeteria with a deli, a grill and an entrée station that varies. It isn't the best in the world but it's a big step up from the wheel and we still don't have to clean up after ourselves.
I certainly don't expect you to like all the same food as me, but if your only requirement is that you needn't cook or clean up after the meal, then I stand by my statement that you have ridiculously low standards.
I don't have ridiculously standards, but I would say I am easy to please with the many options of food that a cruise gives you. (if that makes sense) We have of course had meals that were not wonderful on past trips......cruising and on land.
I would agree about the vending machines. Here at our school that just got rid of one and replaced it finally with something that you may want to buy from it. :)

Well I guess my point or attitude is that I know they are cooking for 1000's of people......and I appreciate that I am not cooking for a week. I know it is not 5 star dining, but one can always find something that they like. Sure there are things we don't like, but there are plenty of things that we do like.

Our boarding says 12;30-3:00. I thought you needed to be on the ship two hours before? So, I am assuming we should not get to the port any earlier than 12?

So long as I am not cooking or doing the dishes the food is always good. Great variety too. :)

Thank you for all the tips. I will look closer. It get so overwhelming 😕 I appreciate all the advice.

So, you can buy them through the Verizon website? I can't seem to find them.

Just curious to see if anyone has stayed there? Our flight gets in so late, that we are really just looking for a clean/safe place to sleep for the night. It is relatively inexspensive.
Thank you in advance,
Sandi

Well I called the hotel and they said they don't do day passes. So that's weird since it came right up. Glad I didn't book anything.
