We did the "on your own" tour with Celebrity and it was great! No need for a tour guide really. We had plenty of time for lunch and walking around Taormina.

Hello! Celebrity is having a great Labor Day sale on excursions. We are traveling on Apex in mid June on the Scandinavian itinerary. We have never been to this area so everything is new to us. What excursions would you recommend for first-timers? Which ports can you just do your own thing without being on an excursion? We want to experience the uniqueness of each port. Any advice would be appreciated!

I see an excursion in Bimini for Resort World and beach. The excursion shows a 8am starting time. Does this excursion really start at 8am or can you go at your leisure? My understanding is that it is only a short tram ride to Resorts World. Any advice would be appreciated.

We had a half cabana on Apex, $150. Included a bottle of Vueve Champagne or a bottle of liquor. Fruit, lunch and drinks were included. There was a direct ocean view. Hours 9am-5pm for service. The Magic Carpet was up on a higher deck during the sea day so it was not an issue. They are people walking by but that wasn't a bother. We thought $150 was a good price for all that is included.
