Totally different things. 26 Glaciers is a shore excursion out of Whittier. These are Allen Marine boats that pick you up off the ship, take you up close to the glacier, and then return you to your ship or the nearest port.
Sorry, totally misread the post.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn you mentioned. Very walkable to Publix and Total Wine. Best part for us, it’s a short walk to the port.
-
If you book this privately through Phillips Cruises, the 26 Glaciers cruise is $189.00 per person. It is the same boat that Princess uses. We did it and it was definitely worth it.
-
Also, when you prereserve your seats, you get to choose a seat assignment.

We love the Holiday Inn Express on 17th street. Updated room, close to grocery store, and Total Wine. Also, a very easy walk to the port.

We always stay at the Holiday Inn Express 17th street. Everything is walkable including the port. Grocery stores, Total Wine, Walgreens, Starbucks, and restaurants. We always walk to the port. Very easy to do.

I got free ocean views on both Carnival and Holland with casino play.
-
I was able to use my Caesars Diamond Plus card for cruises on Holland at https://oceanplayersclub.com/hollandamericamatch

On Dec 1, we had an 11:15 am flight out of LAX. Used Princess transfers and got there a couple of hours early.

We just did bus transfer on Oct 30. It was wonderful. Gave Princess our luggage and didn’t see it again until it was at our cabin
-
We set a time for our taxi to return.

I too have gotten Shareholders credit often. For my last cruise I sent in the form repeatedly with no results. Finally I called Princess. Turns out my stock info was more than 90 days old. I sent an updated copy while on the phone and the credit was added immediately.

Ombud,
If you are elite, you can get free laundry tokens at guest services. Just this year, I have done it on the Diamond, Ruby, and Emerald,

Thank you for sharing your wonderful day. We will be in town the week of April 8, on the Norwegian Escape. This is exactly what my brother was planning. Thanks for making it easy.

Takevtr1,
Thanks for the additional info. Much appreciated!

I have booked the Wyndham Tangerine in Puerta Plata using Resort Pass. Any info on this resort? I read the beach was often too windy to get in the water. Any issues with the wind at Sunscape? I did see Sunscape and could cancel and switch if need be. Thanks for any advice,

I was in the same position as you. Earlier this month I tried using a price list to get to Catherine’s Cafe and they laughed at me stating there is no posted list of prices. The port taxis wanted $50 each way. Outside the port area I found a taxi for $40 each way. I feel a little bit better knowing it wasn’t just me.

On my last cruise, the third most traveled passenger is the one who told me about laundry tokens. I just tell the front desk my husband prefers to do our laundry. Also was told that they would remove the charge if you charge them to your account. I tried this, but it did take a couple of days and phone calls to get the charges removed.

I’ve done it three times this year. On the Diamond, the Ruby, and currently on the Emerald.

If you are Elite, you can ask the Guest Services Desk for laundry and soap tokens. And yes, they are free.

We visited Antigua on March 7, 2023. A few notes:
* Booked through WhatsApp
*Taxi was $40 each way. They wanted $50 but was able to talk them down to $40. They laughed when I said $30 and said my official list of taxi prices was out of date. It was about a 45 minute drive.
*Very friendly welcome. Sat in two loungers in the shade. Arrived at 10 am and left at 2pm. Had a wonderful lunch of a steak baguette and a cheese board. Also had two cokes. Bill was $56 and included a 12.5% service fee. They very happily accepted our American Express card.
*Spent about 3 hours in the beautiful turquoise clear water. Very calm and not too crowded.
*Only cost was our food.
*Very clean bathroom and they had a outdoor shower for use.
Overall, we would recommend Catherine’s Cafe for a nice pleasant day at the beach with great service.

Stayed there in February using points. Close to Publix and Total Wine. Also, we love being able to walk to the port.
