Has anyone realised that the starting prices of £449 on Britannia and £779 on Iona are for Early Saver prices so if you want to pick your cabin location then you will have to pay extra for a Select price. So basically they are charging £150pppn and putting you in a cabin that suits them not you.

I exchanged a few emails with my TA this morning and she suggested that at this point she is under the impression that all bookings will effectively be 'Early Saver', with no free OBC/parking offers, and as with normal saver bookings, P&O will allocate your cabin later on. She did say that she would let me know if she heard more though.

  2. We have our first suite booked for our honeymoon next year on Britannia - Can't wait!
I don't suppose anyone knows what the deal would be if we have the unlimited drinks package, if asking the butler to bring us drinks to the cabin occasionally?

For example, does the butler bring bar drinks (which would be 'free' because of the drinks package). Or would all drinks be classed as room service, and chargeable on top of the drinks package?

Just wondering really - but could be nice for the odd cocktail in the cabin!

Direct from P&O. Very thin just lists of the ports for each cruise plus details of how to book. We always book direct.

Any chance you could post photos so we can see ports? Obviously if it's a hassle then don't worry as they will be available tomorrow anyway.  Thanks

  4. Never done any back to back cruising before - Just wondering how that works with P&O?
Is there are discount offered for staying on in the same cabin? On changeover days  do you have to get off with other guests, or can you stay on board?

I'd be interested in trying it in the future!
    Thanks
    Dan

  5. @Ulsteinvik, Would you mind giving the details for these two:

    Ventura
Canary Islands from Southampton, 20 August 2022 (14 nights)

    Azura
Eastern Mediterranean from Malta, 18 August 2022 (7 nights)

Looking for a honeymoon around those dates so would be good to know where they are stopping! (already made a note of some of the others you've listed, thanks!)
