Is the one eyed eagle still at the top of the tram ride?
Love the view up top.
I’m headed back up (ticket is good all day), I’ll look.

Not to start rumors or cause panic, but this morning the ship went yellow on the CDC website, and I just witnessed several crew exchanging their cloth masks for N95s.
Be careful out there!

Note to @Brentt_M, maybe not so much with the kids. Your kids are cool, and would probably be fine, but... not really meant for kids in general...

So, if you are taking this cruise in the next few weeks, absolutely go to the Red Dog Saloon, and ask for Charlie, she's a great server!
It is definitely as bawdy as you'd expect from a wild west style saloon, but if you have the sense of humor for it, it's amazing. (The house shot is called a "Duck Fart" to give you an idea. If that doesn't turn you off immediately, go and have several, you won't be disappointed!)
I'll have pictures later, but I'm on my computer, so I can't post them from my phone, which is with my wife currently.

Thank you for sharing your time with us. Has anyone mentioned at what "capacity" you are sailing this week? We will be aboard for the Sept. 11th sailing and wonder how far they will ramp up the capacity by then.
We’re at 1588. Last week was 1500, they’re aiming for 1700 next week and climbing from there.

Oy, I forgot the Alaska time change, that’s why the wildlife spotting wasn’t happening!

Fingers crossed but it's looking about the same on the live webcam at the moment.
Not surprising, as I took that photos seconds before posting it. 😉

Just a heads up, comic Warren B. Hall was also fantastic.
Having been on a ship two weeks ago with two mediocre comics, it was refreshing to both laugh and not see all of the punch lines coming a mile away. Highly recommended!

That is great to hear. Can I ask what genre of music it is?
They went through several. Current, hip hop, disco, jazz…. The dancing and the show was fantastic!

I don't wish this to become a back and forth about whether to wear a mask or not. I merely stated that I have started wearing masks more in indoor situations. Living in New York I have worn a mask on the subways everytime I have been on it. And yes, I am vaccinated.
I’m wearing one now, in the comedy show. I think I’m the only non-staff wearing one.

Successful meet and mingle held, met several lovely new folks, and of course chatted with Brentt again.
So nice to be back at sea!

That is a great picture. Seas look calm! you are Blessed!
They’re a little rougher than they look, but nothing we can’t handle. They’d be murder on a few of my family members, though.

So we are just taking it easy and lounging in the room a bit this morning. We will probably get up and about in a couple hours.
I slept in really late! I mean, it’s only 7:30 and I usually get up at 6:30, but as I’m an easy coaster, that’s four extra hours!
See you at the M&M at 4, Brentt!

Have a wonderful trip!
No need to rush with an answer, but what time were you scheduled for boarding? Did you arrive at that time or earlier? If earlier, any problems?Schedule 120. Showed up at noon. No issues.

I would call your experience a WOW! experience. I am surprised at how easy this was for you.
I was amazed at the luggage. We walked on to the ship shortly after 1230, by 110 we had our bags. It’s 130 and we’re already unpacked.

Will you let us know if people are wearing masks in places where they can't social distance, like the theater or in lines? We are on the 8/7 cruise and are concerned about the Delta variant being so contagious.
On the Crystal Serenity on July 17, there was rapid antigen testing for everyone getting on the ship and most people paid $25 for another just before getting off (required by the Bahamas for those staying longer and by the US for those entering the US). There were no masks anywhere on board but always when off the ship except on the beaches.
I’m looking forward to seeing what HAL does.

Yay! I know there has been a lot of debate about if they are enforcing boarding times, but I have a small feeling show up now probably wouldn't work...
I was told by my cruise consultant that they’re rejecting anyone who shows up more than 20 before their listed time.
Then again, with as often as they’ve changed ours, which listed time is that, exactly?

But sitting around the hotel just waiting is driving me nuts. I am ready to be onboard that dam ship!
The only reason I’m less antsy is the Crystal Cruise we disembarked one week ago. Not a normal thing for us, but fate threw it at us, so we rolled with it.
Still excited, just not the jonesing of an addict too long without a fix like we were two weeks ago!
