Our last cruise to Mexico, I don’t remember seeing ppl up there much.  Port days there was no one when we walked around.  If you get back to the ship early on the port days, you should be good.

    thanks!

The chess set is on the sports deck and basketball is on the sky deck.

The cruise is 15 days (not 14). I have been on this cruise many times and will be going again Dec 3.

i actually knew all that i just was on a semi working lunch. so i forgot to go back.

I asked cuz mt fiancee wants to learn chess i have a travel game but i rarely find big sets. so i can take pictures with it.

  3. I have a question on the Sky deck there is the sport court and big chess board  Ilove both pretending I can shoot a basketball (pretty form bad aim) and chess (im decent for a beginner but forget a lot because i got weeks and months without playing) are the used very much to be crowded at times?

Going on a 14 day Hawaii in January on the aforementioned Grand. Just curious how much they are used.

  4. The MDR is great place to try the menu. they want you to be happy and find stuff you like its not like on land where you are stuck with what you order or you have to pay to get another I know some people some nights after exsurions will just get appz as their meal two or three for their party of 2 and eat that and salad. Its all about you in the MDR so make the most of it. cause if you are unhappy they are unhappy.

  5. Theives look for easy to grab bags even if it has a lock or no lock its luggage its not fort Knox soft side hardside duffle bag an army rucksack.

Most of whats inside contratary to the 100 dollor polo. (which i found your 100 dollar ralph laurens for 25 at kolhs so sue the place that sold you them for theif) they dont want. they dont want your shoes nor pants you get no money in resale value. they want electronics etc.

Ypour shirt or 500 dollar suit is zero in the world of crime. its why when they break in your house they dont grab your clothes but they will swipe jewelry tvs phones cameras etc.

I don't think that the OP "misunderstood".  Sales people are sales people, I don't care if they are a Princess "PVP",  an international gold broker, or a vacuum cleaner seller,  they will tell you that you can have what you want.  What they "fail" to mention in the promise is: "FOR A PRICE".  I was a "worker bee", and I bore the brunt of this story about Sales People all the time.

They did misunderstand let them pick is not stand by... that was the confusion. I think this was a great old topic to bump. but im unsure what the rest of your bloviating is about.

  7. Thats really good way to retain travellesrs when they become of legal age.. if they are alreayd elite status it might help them stick around instead of starting off at blue and using that a spring board to leave for another line and work on getting elite there,.

Click on the alcohol policy. youll find all the information you need there.

or if you wont click. I copied and pasted.

As provided in the Passage Contract, guests agree not to bring alcoholic beverages of any kind onboard for consumption, except one bottle of wine or champagne per adult of drinking age (no larger than 750 ml) per voyage, which will not be subject to a corkage fee if consumed in the stateroom. Additional wine or champagne bottles are welcome, but will incur a $15 corkage fee each, irrespective of where they are intended to be consumed. Liquor, spirits or beers are not permitted. Please remember that luggage will be scanned and alcohol outside of our policy will be removed and discarded.*

Alcoholic beverages that are purchased duty free from the ship's gift shop, or at ports of call, will be collected for safekeeping and delivered to the guest's stateroom on the last day of the cruise.  A member of the ship's staff will be at the gangway to assist guests with the storage of their shoreside alcoholic purchases while our Boutiques staff will assist guests with shipboard alcoholic purchases.

*Princess Cruises is not responsible for any alcoholic beverages removed and discarded by shoreside security staff. Such items are not eligible for monetary refund or replacement.

We use this as well but on our iPad. Just sit on the shelf in front of the tv.  We have an alarm clock at home that projects the time onto ceiling, like to just glance and see how much longer I can stay in bed. 😉

I love the clock on the ceiling i dont have to squint across the room... It has made life easier.

  10. These first world problems are astounding...

If the biggest problem is finding a seat on a cruise to eat the food or drink burnt sugar water known as coffee then please sign me up for your lives.

I mean come on folks this is not the worst thing that could happen, also to hear manners brought up it is also bad manners to complain about others manner. unless you just say bad manners and never study the actual list of mannerly things.

Worst website I've ever used. It never loads for me or, when it does, it has a notice saying it is suffering "technical difficulties" 🙄... so I agree with you, it sucks.

No, it’s not like other websites. It is down substantially more often.

They truly need to start firing people until it gets better. The problems have been ongoing forever.

you are aware they are based in server farms all over the world.. they dont hand 75 percent of the backend of a website the other 25 percent is tech guys in office who have to call the server farm... I have nevr had a problem perhaps your isp has issues with your router.

  13. I take reviews in this manner, If the bad review states the ship or service or item is bad, I look for examples. If its just a the steward was rude. and nothing else given I ignore it. same with good reviews. the less thats there in the review the less I listen I dont mind bad reviews if they are thought out and dont seem angry there are and is nothing wrong with bad reviews or good reviews that are thought out and not done over a perceived issue.

I also have no issue with overlooking reviews and finding out for myself. Learning is all part of the fun of life. even if it means we didnt have the greatest time but honestly life is all about how we choose. soooo... if its bad we hve to choose to have our vacation ruined ive had "ruined" vacations for some of my brothers as a kid but that was my best vacation ever. that got more deep then I wanted. but still.
