    Can anyone tell me the correct email for Calabaza Tour in Barbados. The email on the website is not working and i'm trying to contact them without having to call. Is there another email for them?

  2. Both ships are on the screen right now, but EX is passing the Gem. Gem has been moving out slowly. I wonder what's up? Never seen two ships like that on the webcam in NY harbor.

     

     

    I saw that too. That was a first seeing 2 ships side by side in the harbor.

    The Explorer just whizzed right by the Gem LOL Maybe the Gem left her berth a little to early:confused:

  3. I was on the Explorer in March when they offered the 3 drink vouchers. We were told that it was a trial program.

     

    I see we'll both be on Explorer next week, we shall see about the drink vouchers.

     

     

    I'm hoping they still offer it.

  4. Can't say why Royal uses an underscore, but if you want the email to get to the right mailbox, then you have to use it too in this case.:)

    It's the horizontal line like a minus sign but sits down low. Sorry don't know how to better explain it.

     

    The underscore is usually the shifted minus sign or dash on the keyboard.

  6. Just went to check if anything changed on mine. The entire billing section is gone! No balance to see, not even a box for it or a tab. Guessing they realized their glitch and just took it down to prevent people from seeing the issue. Not sure why the DD site wasn't as well if it wasn't ready yet.

     

     

    You're right!! Hopefully they'll get it straightened out before the 15th:eek:

  7. I work in IT and if we EVER put a system out that had "glitches" like this even in a beta mode we would out the door in a heartbeat. If it was just the Quantum bookings that were impacted by this I might go along with saying it is ok, however all reservations are now going to the new booking process and causing issues.

     

    I do agree, however, that if it isn't working appropriately by Thursday, the pitch forks will be out in full force :eek:.

     

     

     

    No, this is an ongoing issue with the drink package. These packages are supposed to include the gratuity. They keep somehow messing it up and adding it in again. Another "feature" of the lovely website!

     

     

    Late last night i went to chk out the new website for the cruise planner. After i went into my cruises acct and checked the various bookings i made i discovered that every thing i bought is now double in people and in price.

     

    for example my daughters friend bought the liquor pkg for herself it now says for 2 people and a new charge of $990:eek:

     

     

    It's odd but our Quantum cruise DD specialty venues are all correct in the amts.

     

    I just called Royal and the rep went into the cruises we have booked and only sees the correct amt~~ ie: soda pkg for one not 2:rolleyes:

     

    My only concern is I don't want to be charged again.

    To say the least its frustrating

    That's interesting that they have Tonic. Haven't seen that one :)

    It seems that each ship carries different items.

  10. Okay I called back to the dedicated Quantum dining line and WAS able to book the complimentary venues as well, AND got my 7:00 time! And the icing on the cake was being able to book Coastal Kitchen even though we are in a plain balcony room. Moral of the story: be persistent. Now if I can only figure out how to book Chefs Table...

    Thank You!! being persistent does pay off :) We are also in a standard balcony:D So~~~~~~I decided to give it another try~~~

     

    After being on hold for 1/2 an hour I finally got through and was able to book Coastal Kitchen, even got the time i requested. BTW the Dynamic Dining call center is open 24/7.

    I'm just happy to be able to try all the different complimentary venues.

     

    I also asked about the showtimes conflicting with dinner times and the rep said that this was taken into consideration. The rep went on to say that they wouldn't open up Dynamic Dining if it was going to cause conflicts:confused: I have a feeling it might be staggered like the Oasis class Showtimes scheduling.

     

    Let's hope so

    I just got off the phone with Sandy from Dynamic Dining.

    I told her how I was interested in booking Coastal Kitchen. That I heard some non suite quests were able to book.

    After she went through our reservations names etc. She said that Coastal kitchen is definitely NOT opened up to non suites to book.

    Those that did book might be getting a call:confused:

    I tried but no go:)

    So are there any suite quests willing to take my DH and I under their wing:p

  12. Hi Everyone,

     

    I just got the call today from a Dynamic Dining rep around 1PM. We're Diamond now but will be D+ by the April 12th sailing.

    I almost didn't answer the phone:eek:

    This was very exciting we're never pre-selected for anything.

     

    We made all our reservations with specialty dining( Chops, Wonderland and Jamies Italian) included all for 7:30PM.

     

    I was also interested in CK but have heard conflicting reports that for a few days they have it open to non suite quests to book. Some say yes and no.

    I'll try calling back and see.

    There are no lunch reservations set up yet to book.

     

    Now i'm hoping this time won't conflict with the shows.

    It's really surprising they can't reveal the entertainment schedule:confused:

    Once the schedule opens up Dynamic Dining will be a mess with calls.

    I'm just glad to have it all done.
