Which room on the carnival sunshine is quieter.6337 or 7331.I know the casino is deck 6 and concerned about noise.

Both of those cabins are at the rear of the ship and there are cabins above and below both. Casino is deck 5 mid-ship, so I don't think you would hear any noise from the casino.

Both of you provide good points!  Our kids are teens.  I'd just like to sit on it and have coffee in the morning or sleep with the door open.

You can't leave the door open. It can cause a problem with your A/C as well as other cabins A/C around you.

It shows I am red when I booked. Should my wife be red too and will both daughters get a blue card? Reason I ask is we are planning on taking 3-4 cruises a year with me and my wife.

    Yes

If we reach higher levels do the kids get their own VIFP number and status? Example if we are platinum and they are red and they are booked in our room would they get to enjoy the same perks as us being platinum and be issues a platinum card? Same as when we are gold.

Your children will be Blue on their first cruise, Red on their second, etc. If you reach Platinum, they will not get Platinum cards and will not get Platinum perks.

Not sure that's true. I've used FTTF a number of times and always cut up to the front of the buffet line.

I think you have broken in line. We are Diamond and have waited in line at the buffet. No priority for Platinum or Diamond and no priority for FTTFs.

Awesome review, but wait... You said "I’ll give the MDR a chance, especially on a ship like the Vista where you can experience the specialty restaurants for no charge at lunch."  I've never heard this before.  We're sailing on Panorama this winter and have been heming and hawing about booking the Steakhouse for one night (mostly just not sure what night we want it), but if they're available for lunch maybe we'll just go then and enjoy the MDR each night

Steakhouse is NOT available for lunch. However, they are sometimes open for a sample preview of some of their dishes which could well be considered as a lunch. Spaces are limited and only available on Day 1.

You didn't make a mistake, the area on Deck 10 is accessible via elevator. The atrium elevators and those immediately behind them all go to 10. Then one needs to go outside and to the aft. Works like magic.

    .

Thank you. I was thinking there were elevators at the rear of the Lido. Forgot you could go forward to get to deck 10 and then go aft. Thanks for reminding me.

Really depends in which direction the ship is heading and where you are sitting. generally sunset is around 6:30 in the Caribbean. Obviously if the ship is headed east, the sun will be on the bow.

If the ship is sailing East at sunset, wouldn't the sun be setting West and the view would be from the Aft of the ship?
