We were in Israel for two days, but split our blog posts into three parts! We saw and did so many things and took so many pictures. The first part is ready - our visit to the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the Basilica of the Agony at Gethsemane. I think you have to book with Memphis Tours for the transportation. I'd about a4 hour drive from the port. LT is a great guide, not a driver.

One of our friends did the Taj from Cochin. Flew to Delhi, then had three days in Delhi with the trip to Agra in there. Much less stressful for them, and they seemed to enjoy it. I don't remember the company they used though. I can ask if you want.

They did - it was a wonderful surprise. A last minute "excursion" added and we're so glad we went. Food, dance, drink, henna, and we all came home with turbans.

Our ad hoc event in Mumbai was incredible! Ten passengers from the world cruise had a special night in Mumbai. We arranged for a special concert/lecture/demo of Indian Classical Music, arranged by Deepa Krishnan of Magic Tours of India. The performers were incredible, we had wonderful homemade snacks - samosas and sweets with chai tea, and had a chance to try some of the instruments. Another mention off not being afraid to look elsewhere for tour opportunities. Deepa runs tours all over India and for our next visit here she will be our first call!
