I make my own spray. You buy peppermint oil that is safe for digestion, you can even buy tea tree oil and mix it in a tiny spray bottle with witch hazel. It kills all airborne germs, it is natural, safe and easy to use.

I use the max cover mist travel size, the travel size disinfecting wipes, and witch hazel travel wipes.

We wear mask. Every time we return to our cabin they get sprayed with lysol and when we wear them again I spray them with peppermint. It is a germ killing natural oil. 

We use the stairs when we can and also sit next to an empty table when possible. 

I spray the pillows with lysol and use a zip lock bag on all remotes. They are the two things that carry the most germs. I'm a nurse and deal with disease all the time so I learned several tricks. 

I carry lysol wipes and wipe down all the handles in the room, inside and outside. People often touch your door handle just for fun. 

I carry disposable gloves when using buffet. Better safe than sorry. We wash our hands frequently and at night I use witch hazel on them to kill all germs and helps prevent cracking of the skin. 

And we always book a balcony for fresh air. 

We spray our clothes with peppermint when not wearing mask, it helps with breathing better and reduces germ intake. 

I too am waiting patiently for 2024 cruise for July for DH 50th birthday. I'm hoping soon, we have been saving since the pandemic.

But what really irked me on the last cruise was a bunch of people that now only "reserved" themselves some nice loungers but then also camped out on the adjacent couches in the shade. All day they would go back and forth between them.

I always thought that was not allowed and the staff are supposed to say something when it happens. Disrespect yet again. Cruising is supposed to be fun. I wish we could go back to it and set aside childish arrogant behaviors.

This is a sad times in our lives. I was brought up to respect others. What is the world coming to when we stopped caring about others around us and when snobs think they are better than us. Everyone works hard to enjoy a luxury like a cruise and instead we are confronted with those who have no respect. When can we be able to enjoy a cruise again and not be bothered by disrespect and arrogance?

Was the Owners Suite very noisy from the lounge down below?

I am so excited Discovery has finally arrived. If anyone who is in the Owners Suite and the Penthouse Suite could you please take photos. We are having a hard time deciding which room we would like. Also can you please let us know if the Owners Suite is noisy at night. I hope everyone who gets sailing has a wonderful time. 

If anyone will be in the Owners Suite on Discovery deck 8 would really like photos. We are trying to decide on the Owners Suite or Penthouse suite. Also can you please tell me if its noisy, I believe it is right up above the Vista Lounge.
