  1. Greetings: I am planning a cruise in 2024 on Wonder of the Seas. We have sailed on the Oasis, Allure, Harmony and Symphony and have found the menu in the Coastal Kitchen to be virtually the same. Does the Coastal Kitchen on Wonder have a different menu?
  2. Great question. Don't you hate when someone says that because they really don't know the answer. LOL When staying in the suites, I have never booked a show reservation on the app. I always reply to the concierge e-mail with my wish list (dining, shows etc.) and I have always been able to see the show I want on the night I wanted. Maybe I've been lucky. I did see on my next cruise on Harmony in two weeks that the shows are sold out. Hopefully, there will be some reserved seats left for the wife and I. Tree_skier probably has the right idea, and it certainly can't hurt to book on the app.
  3. It does depend on your Crown and Anchor status as far as the "Chef's Choice" in your stateroom on embarkation day. Wife and I are Diamond and have had cookies, fruit plate and even strawberries once, however, the best way to ensure you get the strawberries is to order them. I second the comment from bonsai3s regarding lunch at the Coastal Kitchen.
  4. As many of stated it really depends on your individual situation. My wife is a very light drinker. We are both Diamond Crown and Anchor members, so we get 4 drinks each per day. We also typically book a suite on an Oasis class ship and take advantage, at least I do, of the complimentary drinks in the Coastal Lounge. So, for us, it doesn't seem worth it.
  5. Unless it has changed from September of 2022 you will pay at the end upon exiting the garage.
  6. It was indeed the smallest of the fleet when I sailed her in 1986. I guess I'm showing my age as well.
  7. Question to the forum. The wife and I will be Diamond after our upcoming cruise on Symphony in September. My wife is a very light drinker. She's good with one glass of wine at dinner and that's not guarunteed. What becomes of her vouchers? Can I use them or do they just get wasted?
  8. I was booked on Allure sailing 5/28. I tested negative on 5/26 and was just counting down the hours when on Friday the 27th I woke up with a couugh and sore throat. By the end of the day, chills and fever joined the party. Certainly, it can't be Covid as I just tested negative. Well, my follow up test was positive in about 5 minutes. I spent 3 days in bed and still feel lousy and, as disappointed as I was for not being on a cruise, I can't imagine feeling that bad in a Covid Cabin aboard the ship. I guess that's the silver lining for me. My agent called RCCL for me and got a full refund. I'm re-booked on Symphony in September.
