I wish the UK had more pride and patronage like they do in USA especially for armed forces and emergency services. The abuse some of our front line people get is unbelievable . Fly your flag with pride and a big smile. Absolutely nothing wrong in being proud of where you come from.

There is a lot going on though. I mean a silly amount seems they saved it all up for the Europeans rather than annoy the Americans. Sone choice language coming from the hot tub now f bombs are the norm.

Also one of the big counter leaver hot tubs is Down with a lot of sanding and drilling going on in there too. They trying to hide it with blue plastic sheets.

They drilling and hammering the slide again. I don't think it be operational anytime soon the way they going that clear bit has been removed and replaced twice now.

Lots of drilling in the solarium and central park. They were re assembling one of the water slides looks like a big job Not very relaxing in these areas at all. I understand they need maintenance but we were docked all day and they thought the best time to restart all this was in the afternoon just as everyone is getting back in board Sone areas of the ship look v tatty. The windows everywhere are dirty, My room has what looks like blood stains on the curtain and it's ripped with holes in it. The vent in the bathroom is like a 747 engine it's so loud. I'd expect more from a 3 star hotel. This ship is a bit of a rust bucket.

Bring Euro notes with you. Cards are Widley accepted but not everywhere - Taxi's for example. USD is not accepted off the boat and will result in confusion in europe if you try to pay with $

Before they took them away as a cutback they were often under the counter and not on display you had to ask for them, once one asked of course within seconds everyone wanted a bag!
