Does anyone have any recommendations for a budget friendly clean and nice hotel near the Venice airport and possibly the train station in case we test positive before flying home to the US and have to quarantine? Would need easy access to pick up food and something nice to look at or walk around outside (double masked of course) if we need fresh air. just developing our worst case scenario plan. Lol!

What happens if we test positive before flying home from Italy? I am seeing different answers for how long we would have to quarantine. If we test positive on the ship and still have days left in whatever the required quarantine period s, does RCCL help us with where we go for the remaining days? If we test positive the last day and have to quarantine on our own, do we just go to any hotel and/or do we have to let the govt know? Just trying to have a Plan B in place like everyone suggests! STILL on the phone with ***** trying to get this fixed. It turns out it was because our air 2 sea wasn’t paid bc it was not linked to our final payment due which we def paid on time. RC is trying not to honor it even tho it was their fault. Literally at this for 5 and a half hours now. and no, the notice was actually from RC telling us that our drink packages were canceled bc the cruise was cancelled but we never actually got a cruise cancellation notice ?? The whole thing is so bizarre. Anyone have a name of a super higher up at RC??

I know people have mentioned IHealth for proctored Covid tests but they appear to be sold out right now for appts. Has anyone used On-Point Testing Company? It says you can use any test and they proctor it for you and provide official results needed for travel. has anyone used them? Looks like $25 each. Still cheaper than trying to use EMed??
