I'd love to see them give additional OBC for those holding more than the minimum number of shares. Say a bonus at 1,000, and another at 2,500... 🙂

Since one can essentially snag an easy $50/100 for most sailings, the current "investment" of $1,500 returns a VERY generous payout !

I agree with you Tom.  We have a "BOAT LOAD: of them....LOL!!

  2. Truth Be Told......the LEGEND was no better.  I was on her/LEGEND for the first time in June 2022.  I also, have another cruise booked on her with a 1st time cruiser and was actively rethinking switching to another ship.  BUUUUUUT, with flight prices and the cancellations, we are just going to make the best of it.

  3. Bought my 1st set of 100 shares at $37.50 - Thought that was a bargain back then/2008ish 😞

Bought my 2nd set of 100 shares at $12.37 - Dunno

Bought my 3rd set of 100 shares at $8.90 - I think that was when the Concordia flipped over, not 100% (2012)

I am contemplating buying 100 more soon.  Guess I'm a glutton for punishment or a hopeless dreamer!!

  4. Just an F.Y.I. and my own personal experience.

I have not received the Stock Option OBC $100.00 for a 7 days cruise, for my past 3 cruises due to the deeply discounted rate.  In the past, I was still given the OBC, not any longer.

    Cheers!!

Can you expound on the $1000 “fun points” as it’s referred to.  I too have this offer and am curious as to it’s distributed.  All at once on my players card?  Or do you have to play with your own money to receive it?  And do you have to only use it on 1 machine or multiple machines? Thanks in advance

I have had it done both ways.  In Aug 2021 on MG, it was uploaded to my SnS card.  Other times, it was cash handed to me from the casino desk.  As long as I was getting it, I really didn't care how the transaction happened😁

  6. My PVP happily booked us in a 3 person suite (there are 2 of us) without issue.  I honestly didn't even know that it was for 3 people and just wanted that particular location.  However, "In The Past"..... if you were booked in a particular room that holds more than your current occupancy, they do have the right to move you to a comparable or higher tier.

    Just my 2 cents.

I'm curious - if you have (basically) a CHEERS package for yourself - would your spouse be able to purchase CHEERS (for just 1 of the 2 in the cabin)?

    Tom,

I am not 100% sure on that one and have been reading different answers to that exact question on these boards.  My cruising buddy also received the same offer, so we are G2G, which helps🙂

  8. I have been blessed with fabulous offers.  I will be going on my 19th cruise in June that included 1K in casino cash, drinks everywhere for only me, and a free suite.  I do spend more time than I would like to admit the casino🤫.  Also, have my first Elite booked for April of 2023, no $$$$, free balcony and all of the Elite perks for 2 people.

I would do a screen shot of them if I knew how to🙄.

  9. Just remember in regards to showering, you can always go to the GYM/SPA and shower for free.  They are HUGE.  I do it regardless of which ship I am on.  Easier for shaving and such.

MG bathroom was narrow and tight for us.  I was in a Spa Balcony.  Hubs is 6' and 230lbs.  It was just doable and by no means the THROWN that he is used to😁

  10. P&A was just down right nasty for us.  Granted, I was on the 2nd sailing of MG. but still, it looked like dog food and did not taste good a tall.  Also, there were only about a total of 4 tables with 2 people in the dining area and 2 people at the bar.  Dinner took a little over an hour from start to finish.  We did not return.

I agree, dining room was Ho Hum at best.  Cucina was best, we went there 2 times, I luved the veal, service was awesome.  I only saw maybe 3 couples eating at Emerils all the times that I walked by.  I thought that maybe, it wont last.

I thought the pizza and sammies were great,  So must have everyone else, as it was always buys and closed early.

Oh that Sea Day brunch....Mmmmmmm - I had it every day that I could.  Steak n Eggs were 5 star all the way, although I've read they are no longer serving the filet.  Glad I got to enjoy it while it lasted.

BOLT was my hubs 15 seconds of fame, they only did 1 loop at the time for $15.00.  It was on his bucket list.  Me, I was in the kids sprinklers doing my thing :).

Like a previous poster stated.  Try as much as you can.  I know we did and checked allot of items off of our bucket list.  If it was good eats, we went back, if not, we passed and moved on to something else.

    Enjoy!!

  11. Same thing happened to me, I had a similar post.  Called CCL and was told the Bon Voyage or Wedding was all that was offered.  I opted for the Bon Voyage, although my and my cruise girlee woulda got a chuckle out of the "Just Married/Honeymoon" decore and cake😅.

Wondering if you had the same experience or were able to get the BDAY???

  12. I was on the second sailing on Mardi Gras and it was complete and utter chaos at embarkation...

No1 was listening, people were just going wherever they wanted when they wanted.  There was no Plat/Diamond area yet.  Glad is not longer a complete CLUSTER🤪.

    Embarkation was smooth as silk.
