  1. For Burnie we have booked the Burnie Attractions Bus, it seems to be a hop-on hop-off bus going to the Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens and Hellyers Distillery. We're considering doing their Wings Wildlife Park shuttle bus after the attractions bus or booking the distillery tour. I'd definitely recommend Taronga Zoo for when you're in Sydney, it's a lovely zoo, just get ready for a lot of walking!!
  2. I don't have an answer for you sorry, but when I was in Burnie I did the Burnie Attractions Bus, it was a great introduction to Burnie and it was only $49 for a hop on hop off ticket visiting the Rhododendron Gardens, Guide Falls, a lookout and the whisky distillery there.
  3. We looked at hiring a car for the day, but decided to go with a private tour instead, it was more expensive but I'm really looking forward to having our own guide for the day! I contacted Tours around Tasmania who were able to help put together a tailored day out for us, I can't wait to see Hobart again! The Argyle Street car park in Hobart's CBD is probably the most secure, but also the most expensive. From memory it was about $25 for the whole day last time I was there, so not sure what their overnight fees are like!
  4. Hobart is a stunning port to visit, they will have tour operators near the cruise terminal offering different tours to areas close by. We've just booked a Mt Wellington, Richmond and Bonorong tour with Tours around Tasmania. I also thought their Hastings Caves and Mt wellington tour looked good, as no one else seems to be going to the caves from Hobart. Salamanca is a lovely area if you want to wander, there's the Sculpture Trail self guided walk around Battery Point too.
