I have sailed MSC several times and I only use my First & Last names for bookings (not my middle or my suffix since there are not designated fields in their system for those). When you check in at the port they update your name as necessary to match your passport exactly. Before I made my first booking with MSC I called them to ask them how they would like the name and the rep confirmed that only the first and last names were needed for the booking. The Voyagers Club is VERY difficult to get a hold of (they often never respond)...it may just be easier to have your TA remove your suffix from the booking if that's what's causing you issues.

No need to rebook. Just make sure your Voyagers Club number is attached to your booking (Cruise Details -> Passenger Data -> then check and see if your number is in the box for "MSC Voyagers Club Number". If it isn't, you'll just need to call the customer service number and they'll add your VC number to the booking and your status will show up on your cruise documents.

How long did it take after submission to receive the match? Did you get any kind of confirmation email once you submitted the form or only once they actually processed the match? Thanks in advance!

Does this mean if I request a match and get matched to silver, and if I booked a cruise 9/7-11/30 for 11/1-2/28, that I will actually be bumped up to Gold status permanently? Thanks!
